  1. Being honest everyone on here knows how you have assembled your team this year and it’s not because you just pay regular. It’s a great looking team and should be right at the top for predictions but a lot of what’s being said now was said last year and that didn’t exactly work out did it. Injuries and luck play a big part every season, nevertheless it’s a very good starting line up.
  2. What was it someone said this year about Ipswich - 5 finals and didn’t win one. It’s all very good challenging but worth jack if you don’t win anything
  3. Surely if tac subs are allowed why limit it to one, I think 8 points behind is about right with any amount of tac subs allowed if and when a team is 6, 8 or 10 behind, either it’s acceptable to make matches closer or it isn’t. If promoters cannot afford it then don’t have them it at all, really is the same with team building if a team wants to use build top heavy instead of strength in depth I don’t see a problem, limiting it to one rider over 8 is ridiculous enough but to run all the uk leagues on different rules, formats etc is madness and certainly doesn’t help the refs, who get it wrong enough as it is.
  4. To be fair I think set nights this year is the only positive move other than getting rid up of the TR to come out of this years AGM
  5. Heard this a lot about Sedgmen, his demands are becoming as legendary as his injuries, perhaps a year in Australia might change things.
  6. Personally I thought Nicholls explained it quite well that he was more than willing to sign for the Witches last year but wasn’t offered the chance, guest appearances are all about extra money so I don’t blame him at all for taking the bookings. Rumour has it he was set to replace Grajczonek at Sheffield in 2018 but the rule change buggered it up, probably why Bjerre is now set for a return after originally looking out of their team plans.
  7. Well if Ford did propose it you can bet he already had a team sorted
  8. Whatever the person who makes the decision thinks is appropriate. What that person thinks is appropriate of course might well differ depending which club intends to sign him.
  9. Returns ? , when did it ever go away, this type of shyte happens year in and year out. It will never change why the morons that ruin (right spelling) this sport in the uk are allowed to continue. The SCB needs to get a grip, grow some and take control of the sport and sort the rules out once and for all.
  10. Well I can think of one, wasn’t that what all the trouble was about this year.
  11. No it’s more to do with Panthers riding homes on Sundays, Hans like a lot of other riders does Poland on Sundays.
  12. Being brutally honest I think it’s worse now than in previous years. BSPA don’t do transparency, fair or reasonable or even good advice going on recent events.
  13. It’s all one step forward and two steps back. Fixed nights for the respective leagues then only one rider over 8, stop Nicholls etc doubling down and no tv deal. It’s impressive isn’t it. Absoloutly bloody clueless
  14. All ships do WiFi, if he wanted to he could stay well in touch with everything.
  15. Alex Davies was born in the UK, his dad Stephen was riding for the Panthers at the time.
  16. Im not sure any rule in uk speedway would survive a legal challenge. Its crap, pretty much standard fare for the BSPA.
  17. We had exactly the same when Rick Frost owned Peterborough, but money on its own doesn’t guarantee any success as he showed in his time at Peterborough.
  18. Really, and what have Glasgow won since the new owners took over.
  19. Not bitter, just dissapointed we couldn’t hang on to him, but I accept getting married and a new baby means he goes for the best deal for him and good luck to him the bloke is worth every penny. I am sure the big signing on fee had absoloutly nothing to do with his decision.
