We’re about a quarter of a mile from the track. Standing water everywhere and it’s raining steadily. Can’t see this going ahead.

It’s pretty obvious that Matt Ford is playing hard ball with KK. He obviously doesn’t want to strengthen a rival, but probably would at a price. It maybe the valuation that’s the sticking point.

There hasn't been a supporters club at Rye House since Len Silver kicked em out in the late 1990's. The closest we've been to one was the fund raising activities, organised by the Longman family and others for Robbo after his horrendous injuries in 2006 and the many Northern tours organised by them.

I'll pick and choose depending on opposition/weather/whether I can be bothered. We're only a couple of minutes drive from the track. Nothing will replace seeing you're own team race though. Sadly they're over 300 miles away
