Relegation/promotion would only work if the team winning actually wants to be promoted. It's not like football where you're guaranteed a vast amount of money moving to the top division. Glasgow wouldn't want to be promoted as they'd lose all of their local meetings with Edinburgh. The closest club to them would be in Manchester!

If you think that meeting was poor wait until next week!!

I don't know what else you can do. Entertaining speedway on a decent evening weather wise and ran pretty efficiently. I'm afraid some people just can't be bothered these days. I was texting for speedway updates and had very few "from the gate" comments which says a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed the meeting as did my eldest two offspring up visiting for the weekend

Linus Sundstrom was a great exponent of that on the 2nd bend during his spectacular second season with us. Chris Neath in his latter years I seem to recall used it too

That's enough for a postponement in Buster Chapmans world

I like the sound of that for purely selfish reasons. It'll mean I can see my team again while up here in exile

Blimey, how old are you? That's the sort of response a ten year old would come up with. At times like this is best to take it on the chin, keep a low profile, accept your team is rubbish and you were beaten by the better side.

Disappointed to miss it obviously, but happy my eldest boy got to see his team win. I still think 2005 was the pinnacle of my time supporting the Rockets. That was a great year
