We have 7.75 left or 12.78 if we release Simon or 13.24 if we release theo personally think we should try and fill the position with a rider close to jakes average. Don't see having two riders around the 6 to 6.5 average making us any stronger

Was wondering will the rising star programme and the opportunity it gives be wasted by the lack of teams at national league level. No point been a rising star if all your getting is rushed second halfs

That's not strictly right a young rider who I have sponsored in the past approached me recently regarding this season for help. I specifically asked the question as to whether the uncertainty over which league they were going to be in affected national league place . He told me he had double checked and were still running so all was good. wonder who is bending the truth.

Yep there is going to be a rising star programme and speedway will, start in may and they are considering Plymouth moving into the league.

As I understand it for team building purposes minimum is a 2 so if a team have a 1 star it's still counts as 2 example jordan and joe and Dan

we dont have to accept the draft pick from them as per the set criteria

only time will tell I,m under no illusions as to what could happen at least I,m safe in the knowledge that we wont have to go to edinburgh or plymouth . until riders accept that the lower levels of speedway in the uk are a paid hobby we will continue to struggle. Also riders do not have to accept the equal set money deals they can if the decide to drop out of the scheme and do there own deals and in fairness as you will see from my posts i say it as i see it so if its crap i will say so

No the point is that certain teams namely Eastbourne and Glasgow insisted that teams were ever possible should remain the same so the starting point was that . So with Eastbourne having a 3 and 4 star riders already in for 2020 they could remain for 2021 .Newcastle and Redcar had to make changes anyway because of riders not coming back Riss was known well before the announcement the two foreigners at Newcastle had said weeks before so not in the equation for team changes under rising star programme. As previously said poole had to change due to 2 Aussie riders at reserve and Edinburgh because of not having a British rider who met the criteria. I don't understand why people are concerned about 2021 as it is just an expansion of 2020. Let's see what 2022 brings . the list is finalised for this year as teams were picked 20 months ago ps all promoters vote for this not just the directors

Is it me dave or are people getting this wrong. The grading was done so every team could keep there's for 2021 if they had a young British rider at reserve. The main change will be for 2022 when 2 have to be used and some riders on list potentially will either leave it due to success or decide it's not for them

Is based on the average they have at the present time . There had to be a line and unfortunately one is one side of it and another is the other side. It is an anomaly but if exceptions were made to start it there would be a case for loads of riders to moan about their grading. To me it's pretty fair but only time will tell
