The White Knight
Seems like once a week for us. 🙄 They call this progress????? 🤬 About sixty years ago, I could post a letter in the morning, and it would be delivered in the afternoon as long as it was local. 🙄🤬 Edited March 9 by The White Knight
martinmauger
Well I got my 'Star on Saturday and today so - HA! Well it was late so for something to read I bought the last copy on TJ Jones' shelf (was WH Smith), then regular ish showed up, sent on to a friend North O' The Border who sends me Glasgow & other proggies. Think I heard on the radio price of 1st class stamps is soon to rise, almost 3-fold....

The idea that the world hasn't progressed in 60 years is utterly ludicrous. If enough people wanted paper and post they'd use it more and the service would be better, but they don't and this is the result.

I replied in response to those who were getting their Speedway Stars delayed for goodness knows how long. Obviously, I can't prove it but I very much doubt that the delays were as long years ago. Ergo my argument has some value. That's the truth truthsayer, as I see it.
