I’m sure Leszno will try make it longer than 8 weeks over here now

And this is where Phil Morris needs to do his job and mediate if there is an issue.

At the end of the day Ben Cook has been riding in Poland all of five minutes and reached the required standard by learning his trade in the UK over several seasons. So in the politest terms they can stick their millions and Foxtrot Oscar.

Not sure that'll be the opinion of Cook though.

Pretty sure if he wants to secure a good future in the sport he'll be "yes Mr Polish Man, what ever you say Mr Polish Man."

It's just the way things are now, British Speedway no longer call the shots.

If we want the big boys on our island, we'll have to continue ✊🏻💦 Mr Polish Man

‘Twas ever thus. Clubs/countries put the spade work in before the money men come sniffing and waving their cheque books.

Does he need to ride UK for his visa though? As he still stays at Middlo's. I get the impression he likes riding UK (as he doesn't agree with some Aussies going straight to Poland first) so be surprised if he dropped it imo.

Wasn't that when he lived outside UK though?

Pretty sure there was a year where he had issues with visa but was a while ago so visa rules prob changed since then.

Let's have some suggestions for a temp replacement ..... I'm wondering if the world ice racing champ also does ordinary speedway, he'd be handy lol  Went to Tallington grasstrack yesterday and there's a youngster or two there who might do the crossover to speedway at some time. Ritchie Hawkins was there checking out the talent!  It's a bigger comp today I see with Simon Lambert and a few more ex speedway boys competing.  No youngsters though today.

What about Steve Worrall? Would his average fit?

Yep he would, whether he'd be what the club are looking for I don't know but the options are likely to be limited.

Someone mentioned Basso but unless they get him in quickly he will be too high.

We do have a bit more to play with average wise next month, that's if the averages were correct on the Lynn website.

How soon the saviour of King's Lynn is forgotten, the sun shone out of his backside last season and now he doesn't even get a mention... Woj

You’ve answered your own question there - Simon Lambert!

Lynn need to move quickly and acquire Joe Thompson’s services at rising star before it’s too late! Could be the difference between us finishing 4th or 5th 🤷🏻‍♂️ a bit cut-throat but it’s needed

I think Joe or Nathan Ablitt are the best options available but have a feeling that  Bomber will convince Kings Lynn to give Ashton more time .

i think probably would do Ashton good to ride NDL instead of Premiership to get some confidence back
