He was one of twelve current GP riders in the 2023 meeting and top scored out of everyone. He is generally very, very good at BV and has been for years, but he needs to raise his game considerably from the first three rounds to do well there in a fortnight.
Shockster
3 from Lublin. Why are they so good? 🤔
mikebv
I must admit, it does wind me up when riders in the lead get passed down the back straight on the inside... And it happens so often... They all seem to ride up against the fence, but surely riding mid track, or even nearer the kerb must give better protection? If a rider passes you the long way round then fair enough, but surely you shouldn't make yourself a sitting duck by leaving a huge space from the kerb to be used.. If someone tries to get around you, you still have the fence to help you, let someone up the inside and he then has the fence to use... Smarzlik is a methodical professional rider who will turn out to be the greatest world champion the sport has ever had. It will take something very special to lower his colours. While others try he simply goes about the business of grinding out race wins when it matters and is at the top of his game with little competition. Maybe the format is wrong as you do not see the best riders in the world and until you go back to a series of qualifying rounds with an ultimate final based on the top scorers, it is what it is. Well done to Smarzlik and big thank you to the SGP 3 riders who served up something a bit different and some decent racing. The sport has a future but needs direction.

Mr. Clemens
It seems that the two major talking points is that the GPs are crap and that Bartosz is the goat It is difficult to square that circle
