Pre-season everyone seemed to agree Workington preferring Bachelor over Cook was a good decision. After tonight, might have to review that prediction.

Not sure about that. On ability not much between them. Worky have annoyed him for some reason imo.

Batchelor has a history of this type of meeting, if he does not fancy it his effort is zero.

That's the rider I thought Workington had signed last season but fair play he did really well last season but that tonight is unacceptable from a number 1 and captain.

Very poor performance from the Comets but with this team there could be more of this to come this season away from Northside.

On ability not much between them??

There's no contest.

Going into this season with troy batchelor as number 1 had disaster written all over it.

Not one of the paying workington fans should have to contribute to paying his wages tomorrow.

He should be sacked tonight, blatantly shutting off an uninterested, must be the worste showing from a supposed number one and captain iv ever seen.

Well if you do not contribute the place will shut down and a bit unfair on the other 6 riders.I am bringing a Redcar fan over tomorrow as likes the racing at Northside.

Can’t agree. Craig has proved so far this season he is night and day better than Batchelor. There’s no way the quitter would have scored 15 for Oxford the other night.

I meant going into the season. He did alright last year I thought?

Cook doing a lot better than I was thinking tbh. Going into the season i thought Batch would be OK?

Some harsh comments here. Yes it isn't acceptable by Batch but his bike was awful today.

I agree it wasn't good enough. Why didn't he choose his second bike?

However, he wasn't pulled up at the back because he was losing. His bike was just rubbish.

Sorry, but you can’t really believe that?! You’re taking the pi*s right?! His last two heats, he didn’t get far enough before pulling up to know his bike was ‘rubbish’.

Still think you’re taking the mick…you can’t be serious.

Those Comets fans standing on the first bend will be along shortly to defend B💩tchelor 😉

At least the supporters turn up on long journeys to support the comets through good and bad, if I did not have an appointment I would have been joining them, well done to the travelling comets fans. But do agree watching on BSN batch was a disgrace

A brilliant win for the scorpions tonight! Must say the whole team looked fast and scored good points but in particular Luke Harrison looked to be riding really well and was riding the EWR with full commitment round the fence!

As for Batchelors performance he totally baffles me! The highlight had to be in heat 13 when he decided to give up, got in the way of his teammate Vuolas and cost Vuolas any chance of getting after the scorpions!

Can't defend the indefensible IainB, I was on the 1st bend and was truly embarassed tonight. How there wasn't a reserve replacement in heat 13 is hard to fathom.
