On a more positive note, great to see Sam Hagon showing what he can do, track was the best it’s been all season and the racing was good as a result. We nearly threw it all away late on and the ref had an absolute shocker but glad to see us on the right side of a close meeting for a change. Could say it about most heats. Also wasn't Starke injured anyway? So maybe be a bit more grateful he decided to carry on. Anyway good racing I thought. Glad we managed to stage a late comeback so should get BP.
BacktrackBandit
Great meeting, nice to see some dirt on the track for the first time this season. Shame the referee was poor. Looking forward to 3 weeks time now, hopefully Craig Cook isn’t still a Bandit by then.
Steve Shovlar
We deserved that defeat. Shocking performance early in the meeting. Again took 8-9 heats to get going. This time it cost us and comical time in heat 14 when gating on a 5-1 turned into a 4-2 to Berwick with Starke falling on the last bend to gift Berwick the win. Some extremely poor performances from our captain Zack Cook. Mobile chicane. Tobias no better. Just poor. Every meeting this year we start so slow and this time, just like Oxford at home, we ran out of heats. Hagon decided to have his best meeting in months and was excellent. Against his old club? He should be fired up like that every meeting. There’s a talent in there. Hume was good and I have always liked Drew Kemp. He is now beginning to fulfil his potential as a very decent rider. foreverblue
I know I said I was disappointed with Kerr before but 10 is a decent return, Lawson brilliant, Zach and Tobias poor so was Starke but overall not terrible and we should get aggregate. Stuntdouble
Decent win for Berwick. Don’t know what start line the ref was looking at but lots of movement on both sides. Hagon was tremendous. Good start to the league campaign though .

Kinda crazy they both got away with it. Lawson seemed to move a couple of times before the tapes went up.

God how elite ist are you Poole fans, you expect to win every meeting wow god knows what you would be like supporting a normal club, like my own club the comets, been very poor so far, but we fight on UTC

Cook got a warning after the race but Lawson didn't and kerr who was on a warning wasn't excluded. The motorbikers in the car park would have made a better referee after seeing Lawson jump twice in heat 15 and get away with it.
