Interestingly BSN say that they haven't been given dates by the BSPL for the semis and that the semis aren't part of their schedule, so they have no part in any delays. All the cup competitions should have designated dates like the football. Year after year we have the same situation with cup fixtures.

That’s too simple.Like I say riders dictate when they are available in GB.

slyfox
Apparently this week past week was allocated for the semi finals & Redcar kept Fri 23rd free for this reason. When they offered it to Glasgow they refused. If it was the allocated week they should not have been able to refuse. A home international meeting the day after is no excuse. As Oxford and Poole were in the same qualifying group I'm sure I heard somewhere that they should have been kept apart in the semi draw. This would have also made it easier, meaning the 2 Wednesday clubs and the 2 Friday clubs would have been kept apart. Making it easier to arrange dates. The ' draw '. was kept regional to attract more fans

They weren't done till August last season. What's the rush?
Bandit59
Just call it a four way tie with one rider from each team in a superheat 😉

Definitely should wait for cairns to be eligible and kerr to sort out his mechanical gremlins and find a bit of form I'm sure everyone agrees. If Redcar offered the date and it was reserved for the semi final then award the meeting 75-0 to Redcar. That would make teams race the meetings. Have said all along this is the start of season competition so it should be completed by June at the latest.
