Tbf he had a point. The tapes should have just gone up on zero.

I think if you had the countdown clock up in corner of the screen at every meeting there would be more riders not actually ready to race and the Start Marshals straightening them up and gesturing them to move nearer the tapes when the Clock reaches Zero. Its not split second decision.IMO  .Coommon sense from the Ref.

Yeah looked a bit more grip on starts in particular than usual. Howarth wasn't great either, disappointing all round but some decent racing at least.

Can't say missed Dan as 10 from R/R, just a bad day at the office!

R/r for Dan only got 8 updates are wrong Leon only got 1 point in heat 12 as r/r not 3

Solid performance from Poole's 1 to 6 won them the meeting, hard to beat a team with everyone chipping in like that. Flint and Howarth looked under par  from what we have seen so far this season for the Tigers, that was the difference. Expected the Tigers to shade a tight contest especially with having Barker in for Ashton.

Thats true but he was dawdling to tapes. He just made it to the tapes as could be seen by the clock counting 3,2,1 was there. But really he should have sped around the track faster than he was going.

Thought the racing was decent. Some good overtaking earlier on in the meeting though less on three and four. Crowd looked decent as well.

I actually thought the size of the crowd was a bit disappointing considering who the opposition were .Where I stand on the back straight it was less crowded than usual .

Anyway we set up a gaters track for a meeting against Poole probably wasn't the best idea , though they were the better team on the night . Bomber apart we weren't at our best

Disappointing after our away heroics , but thats speedway , we move on .

Poole look to be the team to beat again this season

Normally when there has been rain, it tends to favour the away side
