Lynn wouldn't have a 3 point reserve. If for instance Lynn got rid of Cook and Iversen that would give Lynn 14.27 to use before month end, that's Zmarzlik and a 5.27 rider😁.Cook/Klindt would give you 13.90 that's a 9 pointer and a 4.90 rider.None of them nowhere near a 3.If they were to tempt Lambert(which they won't )they could have something like 6.66 or 6.29.Or actually if Cook was to ride you could bring Lambert in for Klindt. So they could quite easily get a no1 in without having to get a 3 pointer. When I say easily,I mean on the average fitting idea, not actually being able to convince a no1 to come and ride here.

What a thought..

I make NKI and Cook 12.87 (6.74. 6.13). Cook and Klindt 12.50 (6.13 . 6.37). Unless I'm confused, which is highly likely 😃. Still enough to avoid a 3 pointer though if I'm right.👍

I fear for him at the moment I’ve got to be honest.

A dislocation can often be worse than a break to heal  to do it twice in as many weeks has got to have an effect , he's not in the first flush of youth either as you get older healing  takes longer .

The team is under the limit by 1.40👍

Ipswich fan here and some of the comments by Ipswich fans on social media are embarrassing

Blaming Kvech being at reserve last night … well nothing wrong with that it’s how Lynns team is built …. Also saying if we had a full team we would have won… we lost by 12 no guarantees and we were beaten by the better side

Still King gets stick he is more than doing his job …. Ellis is struggling and Brennan is inconsistent

Where is King getting stick, haven't seen anything on here? Most on here have singled out Ellis & Brennan in the engine room struggling at the moment and inadequate guests to cover for Dan T.

At this present time you only have about 7.54 to play with to replace Cook, who is apparently back next week anyway. You wouldn't really get a number 1 on that average imo.Lambert would come closest though on around a 7.61 I think.Lambert could replace Klindt?

Good all round performance last night in the end, with only Iversen not performing. He'a had a strange season stat wise, only 3 race wins until he wins 3 at Oxford on Thursday, then he had 2 last places all season until he gets 3 last night, without his 2 exclusions oʻ🤔

Didn't Lambert ride 6 meetings in 2023 (his most recent mercenary adventure :P) and average 9.60 - surely this should be his average......

I am aware there is only 2 home meetings in the sample but it is still the most accurate reflection of his standing

Gavan is obsessed with people giving King stick for some reason. Nearly every post mentions it. Im pretty sure Gavan brings it up whether anyone has mentioned King or not at this point.

He said social media, so maybe a Facebook group? Some of them can be pretty intense!

The final issue of the averages of that season had him on a 7.81 average. If you was to take of the 2.5% Brit reduction that would leave him on about 7.61.Anyway regardless of that i was just pointing out that Lynn wouldn't end up having a 3 pointer at reserve even if they got a no1 with an average of 9.

Not as fanciful as you’d think. The heat 15 5-1 made the score look worse than it was, it was an 8 point deficit going in to heat 15 but you’d think a fit Doyle and Emil would have at the very least shared the final heat. Mountain scored a solitary point, so there is where your 8 point deficit is made. A modest five point return from Thompson which he’s more than capable of, would mean a superheat. All ifs buts and maybes of course and at the end of the day, nobody from Lynn will care a jot, but it’s not completely fanciful to suggest a fully fit Ipswich side could have gotten a result.

Or a fit Ben Cook could have made a difference.... or Kildermand not got injured at the weekend.

All 'if' 'buts' and 'maybes'.

It's what happens on the day and over the last few seasons we've had more than our fair share of things not working out for reason or another.

We won, we happy, on to the next one!

3 points behind Leicester... c'mon the stars...

That average is from 2019 and therefore completely obsolete and irrelevant to what he should be IF he were to hold his nose and grace the UK again for another mini stint

The Brit reduction is also for initial declaration only :P

Well it obviously stood in 2023.Anyway that wasnt my point as I said earlier,I was replying to you when you said if Lynn got a no1 then they would have to have a 3 pointer. This is clearly not the case as of this month anyway😊

That’s exactly what I said Kelv and none of it matters does it. My point was a response to “Ipswich wouldn’t have won even with a fully fit team” when there is every chance they MAY have and the reasons I’ve given are more than valid. Not sure 7+1 from four rides from Cook’s RR was much of a handicap either the way he’d been riding this season over here.

I too have not seen King getting stick. He seems to have settled into the role he's expected to fulfil - as part of the engine room supporting Sayfutdinov and Doyle.

Racing against KL, King, Brennan, and Ellis are pretty much matched directly with the likes of Klindt, Iversen, Harris, or Lawson - so they are all capable of beating each other (depending on lots of variables).

As I always say - race the same match with the same riders another night, and you'll get a different result.

if Iversen had been on form, KL might have got the BP! If Ellis had been a few points better, it would have been closer.

Seems to be 6 matches this season so that is what Lambert's average should be.

Victor Palovaara has a 4-2 split. Sure Peter Kildemand had the same.
