ouch
I’ve said for decades now if home fans are happy with the racing then that’s job done as few fans travel away and the off button can be used for tv meetings. I like British final type races but have to concede that we’re not all the same and close follow the leader heats can be just as entertaining to some. Louis in the main keeps his home support happy. Ipswich are massively restricted to what they can do with the circuit. The track has improved as the year has gone on after the winter changes. Louis runs a well run club that is attracting first time sponsors onboard while also maintaining crowds that every other uk track would love. Last night would have been somewhere around the 2k mark & i would expect next week to be higher still.

That’s the trouble these days is riders only ride one type of track and can’t change … I’ve said many times watch riders like Loram Screen and Ward around Eastbourne and Arena that’s how to ride a speedway bike It’s ok having these throttle jockeys at home but you will always come up short away from home The home match against us at your place was boring gate and go See I like close speedway racing and last night at Foxhall was close fast racing and defending lines … overtakes by King and Doyle and Dan T…. And heat 14 with Zach Cook trying inside and out and Dan blocking him cleverly was great racing …. At your place cook would have gone wide and blasted around … yawn We had Ellis withdraw injured and Foord scoring 0 and Jenkins would have had at least 4 so the margin would have been even bigger The fact is with your current 1-7 you have zero chance of beating a fully fit Ipswich 1-7 over 2 legs because your guys can’t ride our place …..Kurtz when leading left everyone for dust.. Miss the gate rode like a novice or simply not willing to go for it as he has a world championship to go for (which I hope he wins by the way) … chatted to Brady after and was happy to have pictures with my 1 year old granddaughter nice guy to be fair and wished him well I really do hope for your sake that Ipswich win the league... Because... If you do a "Devon Loch" and throw it away... You best hope this forum goes offline for at least a week after...

Never going to win the league with this team Apparently they never change their line up during the season except for drafting in Lambert to win the play offs! I am surprised at the vitriol aimed at the track, you would think the NSS had passing on every bend on every lap and every race was like the British Final.
stevehone
every track has it's merits, even Plymouth (did i just say that!!), and it's riders that can adapt will always be better .. no point having all big fast tracks like Poland
ouch
I wouldn’t discount The Aces stepping up a gear come the play offs, as we have done for the previous four seasons. We missed out on four on the trot final appearances by a lap or two in that terrific final heat against the witches after we had lost Charles to injury (no unnecessary vulture snipes from me). Dans unbeaten 10 rides in last years final is a good indicator of how the whole team lift themselves for the big nights with previous performances at the various venues seemingly counting for nothing. There’s no team I’m not confident of beating over two legs when it means something.

I thought Tate would do ok but you would have been better to stick with Vuolas.

Am I totally deluded or do you have to get in the top four for the play offs therefore, they do mean something. Or you’d lose all the meetings always claiming they don’t mean anything then come last in the league. Stop being bitter about having your bonus point taken away and just admit you got done over. If you got the bonus point the comments would have been, oh we went to get the bonus point so job done. 😂

Problem today there really isnt any other British rider who is going to threaten the likes of Bewley and Lambert, gone are the days of Collins, Morton, Lee Jessup, Betts, Carter, when the meeting was hotly contested. Didn't Andy Smith do 3 on the trot as a Bee in 93 94 and 95?

Nope read my post .. I said it wasn’t beyond the realms of possibility they could and listed the potential scoring ….. I got Lidsey and the reserves spot on but was 7 points out on the top 2…… unless Belle Vue make changes it’s quite clear they can’t beat Ipswich over 2 legs
