I totally agree and said the same myself Geoff ! I get a lift to and from speedway, and we have NEVER experienced the long delays in leaving the carpark EVER before. We assumed that there must have been an accident or breakdown because no one moved in any direction for nearly 20 minutes !! If anyone from the club reads this, perhaps they could address the issue so it doesnt happen again ? Or offer some sort of explanation for what happened yesterday ? A bigger crowd means more traffic to get out of the car park, also with the comets being beat, people just head off home rather than mingle about talking about a win

Yes same here,Why when everybody goes into the stadium put red cones out and have only 3 ways out that part of the stadium and should help. I thought the car parks (there are many), could be an issue getting out from... They had some very pleasant marshalls on the road in, upon arrival, but probably need them to direct people into the car parks further into the complex.. And have them after the meeting stopping and starting the exit of cars, at maybe five at a time, from the different car parks.. Someone suddenly came out of a field as I left that I didn't even know was a car park!! I got out early due to the drive home length, but could imagine that one lane being full very quickly.. The promotion are obviously trying to ramp up the "experience" of the evening so feedback on any tweaks needed always helps... And as such, the gents toilets on the first turn only had one basin with water, and that was only the cold tap working .. Best wishes to the promotion there, they are quite correctly targeting getting kids in, which is the way to develop the business as each kid will have a circle of friends (with their parents also knowing each other), so word of mouth is a key tool to use... A mithering kid can get his or her parents to take them places!! Especially if their friends are going already and the parents talk positively about the evening out... I heard that someone filmed the rider locked in the toilets, so, hopefully they will get that on in the socials and YT as that is the type of thing that goes viral and quickly... Write some context across the screen as to what is being watched, and add in some action from the racing, and include the clubs name, race night, and time... A small community can get phenomenal % reach from such opportunities....
topaz325
I think the answer to the car park issue is to restrict the number of cars parking at the stadium to ensure every one gets out in double quick time. 2

I can almost guarantee that this will not happen. There's a reason they didn't bring him back and that reason was proven right by his actions this season. Also, he doesn't fit. Come August 1st we'd have to drop 2 riders to fit him in, and he isn't worth that.

CTD26
A gripe of mine yesterday, why leave it so late to do a tac sub? Try and hit back right away and swing the meeting back, but no.

Some of the earlier heats a T/s could be used had Danny king and Charles Wright plus a decent 2nd rider, so imo it would have been a waste of the T/s ride

How would that work ? Eh ? Most people need a car to drive to the stadium as its too far to walk from the town for many people. In total there are three parking "areas" around the land that the stadium is built on but most people (and therefore the largest parking area) want to park as close as possible. If you start deliberately reducing the size of that area then some people will stay away !

Throw batchelor in there with Tate and instead of conceding a 5-1, it could have swung the other way and stopped redcars momentum. Using it as late on as they did, even though we did get a 5-1, you were still facing wright and king in 2 of the next 3 races.

Craig not likely to return to speedway from what I heard Apparently selling up as had enough And if true the rumours of him getting sacked are not correct It's his own choice from what I was told

Agree it’s falling short on some🤣 Great crowd in attendance yesterday so naturally it took longer to exit the arena and long may that continue! I’d wait whatever it took to get out if it meant a great attendance for our club! Imagine Mancheter united fans getting upset that after a game there was alot of traffic leaving the area…🫣

I have wrote to Sir Jim Ratcliffe and said that 70,000 every game is simply too much... And had he thought of reducing it to around 40,000 so I could get home quicker. . He didn't even answer my letter .. In fact, I have seen plans for a 100,000 seater stadium being built... They just don't listen do they?
