MB723
Track died off after heat 7, was almost as poor as Tobias which kept it closer as the Tigers riders looked faster just not getting out the gates as consistently. Another great heat 7 from Hodder and Flint made some good moves, he's been in some great form.

The rider we got tonight is the real one, I'm not sure why people are surprised. We would have been better running r/r with Flint taking the ht8 ride.
TigerIain
Given that Thomsen's only point came from beating Freddie Hodder, he was literally as good as a man short. Leaving the track at the end of heat 10 was the quickest he moved all night.
Neila
Just got back home after a fantastic meeting at Glasgow the comets made the tiggers ride hard for the win 😄 some brilliant racing by both sides, not many teams will take Glasgow to a last heat decider at ashfield. The bonus point is on a knife edge UTC
SteelShoe
Enjoyable competetive meeting tonight with some top racing. Heats 7 and 14 very influential for the Comets. The Tigers turned what looked like a 3-3 into a 5-1 in heat 7 and what looked like a certain 1-5 in heat 14 into a 2-4 with a great last turn from Leon Flint although we thought Jye still pipped him but the transponder didn't agree. Well done both teams for some excellent entertainment. Edited 13 hours ago by SteelShoe
Robinh88
Very credible showing from Workington last night. Certain Workington riders are probably riding one position above their level. Troy 5 and Zischke in the middle order. 2, 4 and the reserves all impressed me at times last night. Glasgow's top two came to the rescue last night. Howarth was excellent and Bomber was well Bomber. Be interesting to see if Nagel returns this week.
Woke23
Lovely trip up to Glasgow as always. One of my favourite tracks and facilities. I was expecting a battering but was left pleasantly surprised. Some fantastic racing throughout. Vinnie foord has fantastic after his first heat loss and heat 13 when troy beat the unbeatable was phenomenal. Troy has improved these last two few meetings and im chuffed for him tbh. I was in the grand stand surrounded by Glasgow Fans but every one of them seemed decent. Being in the grand stand gave me a beautiful view of the finishing line and I am 100% confident that Jye beat flint to the line but it is what it is.

But that's 'professional' speedway for you. Well the riders are less about the rest at times.
David
According to the transponders, Flint beat Etheridge by one-hundredth of a second 🏁 Edited 4 hours ago by David
Noelinho
Flint was definitely third in that race. The transponders have been a complete waste of time and money. I felt Leon probably deserved the win in that race for trying the move! Still, the heat result didn't affect the result on the night, hopefully it's not a talking point come the bonus point. Good performance from Workington, I expected it to be close. Tobias didn't look good, but nice to see Dan looking more like his usual self. Tate looked fabulous. I'd ove to see him in Glasgow colours one day, but to be honest, the way our top five are performing, I'd happily keep the lot of them for next year. Hard choices to come for next season.

Good point, noticed Villads still listed as 5.00 in last nights programme, not sure how many meetings he needs to get a proper average but if we could go down the airport burger route and keep him as a 5.00 for 2026 that would be smashing.

From the back straight was quite confident that Flint got second, looked like he got it by about half a wheel.
Neila
I'm a comets fan, I was stood on the back straight Flint definitely got 2nd and it was by a bigger margin than 1 thousand of a second as well
