Tai in the SGP. Will be the answer.
This time if never before.
How foolish I am.

I'm not saying he's going to single handedly revive the SGP series, but it's currently at its lowest ever ebb and there's not a single rider in the series they can hang their promotional hat on... Dan Bewley, as good as he is, is all a bit nicey nicey when interviewed, Robert Lambert a bit boring and neither have an individual World Championship to their name... and you can forget the rest although Jack Holder does seem to have something about him.

There's only 3 World Champions in the 2026 series and 2 of them are wild cards and the other one can't speak English... I mean what do you do with that as a promoter?

They need to get a bit WWE....

Tai shouting into the camera, "Arm gonna fence the ass off you Zmarzlik!"...

Doyley telling Madsen "Yer gonna wish you hadn't qualified, bacon head!"..

Dan screaming to Jack Holder, "With all due respect Jack, I hope we have a really good meeting and some great races against each other, and may the best man win'..

Well, maybe not the last one...

Etc. Etc. Etc.

Woffy and Madsen have history if I remember right?

Holding a GP at Ipswich would be a worthwhile consideration. They have had a Stox world final there and accommodated 10k crowd something not possible for Speedway elsewhere in the UK without a considerable gamble on initial cost.
Not saying instead of Manchester but “as well”.

If only Jack Millen and Kelvin Mullarkey were in the GP's...

There’s talk of another Uk venue holding a GP other than Manchester. Ipswich has been mentioned. There’s the infrastructure which they don’t have . Not the easiest of places to get to. Then the all important track that has to produce exciting racing. Which again, they don’t have. Granted the odd exciting race but doesn’t everywhere else. Odsal , Bradford would have both those things. And is tried and tested too. If we’re looking at regular racetracks then I’d look at Glasgow.

Not possible for Bradford to be granted a FIM license as circuit doesn’t meet safety standards (could be altered but at huge cost).
Not sure what Infrastructure Ipswich is lacking considering they have hosted stock Car world championship with 10000 fans - also consider the size of footprint required for stox pits.
Quite a few circuits in the GP are less than easy to get to - Given a domestic final last week attracted 6000 fans there should be a lot of confidence another 4000 would make the trip.
Glasgow could be a good shout and nice to truly have a Scottish GP. What is the capacity of the stadium?
