Well we try again to finally complete the League season against the Berwick Bandits............and after a week of dry sunny weather there is rain forecast for Saturday , hopefully the rain will move off by then and we have a good race meeting.

Unbelievable yet again, but the rain is scheduled between 1pm and 7pm, with it being at its very worst.....around 3-4pm !!   This is now getting bizzarre !  Same forecast each Saturday for last 4 weeks !  I very much doubt this meeting will go ahead.

Forecast iffy again, just hope the riders and helpers don't enjoy the end of season party too much, just  in case the meeting goes ahead 🤪

The riders are more professional these days, hopefully, was a lot different when stoney was riding, a few fags washed down with several pints of Guinness 😁

He needs to be careful. I can't imagine he'll be flooded with offers in Poland in a couple of years when he's no longer an U24.

Strange situation, certainly won’t be back at Workington given what’s been said tonight at the Presentation night.

Maybe he just isn’t cut out for what is involved in this sport

He’s basically been missing Comets meetings at weekends to ride in Poland, and hasn’t been paid by Tarnow.

Probably stressed out by it all hence the social media post he made.

And then had a lift to Poole organised by Workington for the Riband meeting, which fell through so Andrew organised another for him, and in turn Fraser rang to say stuff the lift, the presentation night and Saturdays meeting.

JD then made the comment that Fraser wouldn’t ever ride for the Comets again.

Maybe like Cook last year he’s more hassle than it’s worth, sounds like another case of a rider that wants everything handed to him.

Absolutely mental. Let's be honest here, Bowes is a bang average speedway rider, it absolutely beggars belief that he'd behave like that. 

I think it's symptomatic of Poland finding every youngster that shows any kind of talent and giving them a team place. Some of these young kids think they've made it and are above the UK. I can see the changes to the Polish U24 league in '26 being a big reality check for a few of them.
