Poole look after riders well, but they do not pay /package close to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Plymouth. They offer more matches, a winning mentality and pay very quickly. Matt works on his team well in advance of others and he has no shortage of riders wanting to ride there, equally they have riders who know they can earn more per point elsewhere. Really? And don't they pay handsome bonuses for certain wins?

You won’t see Tobias Thomson or Paul Starke next year. Don't all team managers 4

We definitely don’t pay close to what some do, can tell you that for a fact 😂.

Excellent post say it as it is. The Ford's love Poole speedway and it's run as a very successful business. People can slate the track or whatever but why do riders go to Poole because they win trophies however it's not important as I have been told on here a few years ago but it is if your a rider so is getting paid on time and Poole meets that criterior. Anyhow off me soapbox back to the San Miguel.
Nickinho Posted yesterday at 09:33 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:33 AM I think Glasgow may try to pinch Tate Z from Workington as his average is very enticing but I'm not sure what his or Workington's plans are for next season. SJA
The best signing Glasgow can make is a new Manager, Cami cost you the league this year by not picking Thompson for the Superheat.

A few people keep saying this which would maybe make sense if Harris had won the race but he couldn't beat either of the Poole riders either so it's kind of pointless saying he should've had Thompson, Flint or whoever in the superheat.

Harris was trying to help Howarth get in to the points, I think he would have won the race if it was not a super heat.

Personally don’t think Superheat is a satisfactory way of deciding meeting. 2 nominated riders in a Match Race is a fairer outcome.IMO

Yes, because if Dan had won that Super Heat, we would've "won" the heat... by four points to five.

Noelinho
Yes, the point was, it would've been 4-5. We'd still have lost. Both riders got beaten by both Pirates, so it was irrelevant. No guarantees Bomber would've passed anyone.
