Glasgow Tigers 2026

They are saying on the shoot some shale watch along thing about Leicester vs Northampton, during H8 that Gilkes is not anywhere near race fit and they think that race will make Poole keep Newman.

What do you think of gilkes do you rate him mate?

Was coming along but has had a few injuries and not the same since these, and going by his none performance tonight he's not fit, hopefully a guest change for worky on Saturday as gilkes was down for the gig

I’ve no idea. Speedway clubs don’t disclose attendances, so it’s an impossible question to quantify.

I don’t understand why you’re asking me this.😂

He's partaking in his usual immature points scoring unfortunately. All harping back to the Play Off final where their track was gash and your was mint. He thinks that crap racing and trophies fills stadiums whereas great racing and no trophies doesn't.

Fills the Poole one tbh, you'll have to give him that one. Although last week was better, so hopefully that will continue.

Based on Cammy’s comments about Simon Lambert when he’s guested for Glasgow I can see him coming in for Mario before the gets and official average, especially as Kyle and Leon have added a decent chunk to their rolling averages in 2026.

It wouldn't be an upgrade. It would be a facepalm.

Lambert averaging 1.6 more than Hausl this year, even taking into account he'd no longer be at reserve, that still strengthens the team.

Hausl is young. He should improve.

Lambert's scores are heavily padded by beating very junior reserves in heat 2. You don't get to do that riding at 2. His Scunthorpe performances have not matched his guest appearance at Ashfield.

Think Harris is working on getting his average down under 8 to guarantee a Team place next year.🤔

Lambert beat Kilma 3 times and Joe Thompson twice passing both in heat 8 when guesting for us earlier this year. Winning at home is a must. Currently if Mario has to ride abroad we can get a 5 point guest. When his average drops we will be struggling to find any guest. Mario appears to be a quiet sort of guy not out going like Basso and Nagel. So does he sit quietly and just worry about his lack of scoring? Lambert on the other hand is outspoken and clearly a good team man. We only have 8 meetings left home and away, can we risk not making a change and as someone has already said with Leon and Kyle's averages increasing it has to be like for like. So unless Mario turns everything around on Friday I'd make the change.

Hausl is definitely one for the future, he has potential, the question is how long would Glasgow keep a 5 point assessed, riding to a 3 point average?

For me Lambert is better now, Hausl may be come the end of the season!

As long as he's on his 5 point average, I'd give him time, but when it's about to drop - decision time. Wouldn't necessarily be Lambert, Glasgow may look for a new 5 point foreigner if this one doesn't work?

Cluff at Edinburgh was a lot safer in his job, as they didn't have much options to replace him, Hausl doesn't have that advantage.

Think Tigers management have decided to stick with Hausl, his average might drop down to reserve and put Hagon

at No 2.This might spur Hausl to score points. But leaves Hagon with a lot to do at No 2.

After Worky, we dont have a meeting for a month,is this the time for HAUSL to get his finger out and start practising at Ashfield or will he just head back to Germany and we have the same situation, he's not interested.

You might be right but what makes you think that ?

We have four away meetings in the blank month, half our total away league fixtures, - at Scunthorpe Poole Berwick and Oxford, tracks Simon Lambert generally goes well on  - and need some strong performances to at least have a chance of a BP. Time to make the change.
