Maybe Eddie can come in to cover Kyle depending how long he is out the saddle for?

Hell no! You can keep him! He's a nae user.

This being the same Eddie Kennett who has rarely managed to visit Glasgow throughout his entire career? He always came up with some crap excuse or another. I reckon he's missed more meetings at Glasgow than he has raced over his career.

Plus he was crap when he was here the other week with Oxford. Tigers would be better off sticking with guests from the Comets than signing him!

I think you'll find he's talking about Kyle Newman, not Howarth. 👍

Kennett couldn’t guest for Poole at reserve as he was no longer in a 1-7 in any league as he’s dropped from the Cheetahs now Riss is back tomorrow.

However, to get round that, he’s signed for an NDL team which means he can come in on a 5 average. Those recent low Cheetahs scores helped with that one… this has been on the cards for some time as he already had an agreement to ride for Poole after the Cheetahs season ended (reliable source), hence Poole made little attempt to sign anyone before they hit 75% of their meetings…he’s riding Friday at Edinburgh.. and no doubt for the rest of the season.

Good bit of knowledge, handy know how the system works.

You couldn't make it up!        Edinburgh have announced that Eddie will be Poole's guest on Friday -- in place of Kyle Newman!

The little detail of not being allowed to guest if you aren't in another club's 1-7 has been circumvented by Eddie now having been smuggled into one of the NDL teams.

Perhaps King's Lynn could fit in Kennett for Kingston & not exceed  the NDL 42 pt limit?

How ?

He was still an Oxford rider

Who knows the actual date when they were notified of the changes but it is probably safe to assume the Lightcap deal was done because Oxford delayed releasing Kennett so Poole could not benefit form Riss  returning.

Poole will sling the yank if they can snook kennet in

Not this season, hopefully he shows some good promise, and then looks to be a bargain ave for next season, as I wouldn’t think he will ride enough meetings to get an assessed ave?

Hopefully it’s a signing with a view of being in the team for next season.
Of course that all depends on how he does/ looks in a short but important period of time

Once eddie has served his purpose this season he will get slung on the scrapheap of pirates lobouts, he will find a very rusty king artur at the bottom of said heap

He is not and has never been a Poole rider this season, he has been lobbed out by Oxford with Riss returning who is not returning anymore and does not sound like he ever was returning.

Oxford will have a much better choice of guests for Riss than Eddie. Expect to see a decent 6.5-7.0 pointer when they visit Poole next Wednesday.

Won't it be up to 75% of Riss's average. [5.68]

You don't ride meetings to get an assessed average.
