I remember Ian Hindle , white leathers.

Saw him fall off and his bike do a "Buck-a-Roo" at Hyde Rd, well before cut outs were used...

Every time one of the track staff went to it when it looked stopped, it sprung into life and went bouncing around the centre green, with the track staff running in all directions...

RIP Cliff..

One for the older comets fans. Cliff Hindle father of ex comet Ian Hindle died a couple of days ago, aged 94.. was also a promoter at barrow speedway in the park road days.

Yeah Cliff built and promoted Park Road and The Furness Flyers sadly the supporters didnt come and the enterprise went under. Two reasons I suppose track was out of town and poor team.

You would think if the Cook rumour is true he would have had some serious conversations with Andrew about commitment. He would certainly be cheaper to employ than the last time he rode as his options are not great.

But he has let so many teams down over the last few seasons would you gamble on him ?

I still think he could be a top 10 rider in this league but its a big gamble.

Easily still an 8pt man in Championship, but I suppose you can get decent guests if he goes AWOL again.Certainly a risky signing, after he has made a few quid then just bails out.Believe has a couple of properties that tide him over for cash.
