And that would solve time travel, and allow him to be in 2 places at once?

No, it would mean he'd be able to ride here without ruining his club financially.

If he wants to ride in th UK on a Monday and Thursday, without a TV deal, he needs to accept a pay cut, it really is that simple.

Yes.    Didn't you realise he could ride in one big league and do a Friday night in Scunthorpe and Saturday in Berwick, at the same time as being in the Latvian G.P., just by asking for less money!     :icon_smile_clown:

There are only 10 gp's next season , 2 of which are at belle vue, leaving only another 8 gp Saturdays throughout the whole season, surely fixture planners could , let's say, plan the fixture list accordingly?

Yes, but add in the other GP riders, and all the others with weekend continental commitments,  and it gets a bit messy

If you had the chance to get Bewley, Kurtz, Fricke, Doyle and Jack Holder to your track for the first time in Donkeys/Ever, you would probably work "very hard" on ensuring the fixture list delivered them, wouldn't you?

Maybe, on occasions, Friday night tracks becoming Saturday night tracks, and vice versa, to ensure they could appear at your track...

It wasn't the case a few tears ago when Mr Godfrey was not happy at the amount of Friday nite tracks, meaning scunny struggling to get guest riders, and causing all sorts of issues trying to get meetings rearranged

Anybody thinking the GP and other top riders will sign up to ride Fridays and Saturdays for the peanuts one big league would pay is totally deluded

Never fear though you still have the superhero Simon Lambert to hold the fort :D

I think you will find that that was all Workington's fault mate...:o;):D

An amazing situation, but, in keeping with so much that went before, and gone on since...

The last thing you need is any track finding its "sweet spot", best night to ride on isn't it?

Then their £400k to £600k contracts in Poland will just have to do them to "tide them over"...

Edit.

With a nice "high" five figure pick up from Sweden..

That’s the problem with being honest, unless they  want to sail back and forth into the uk

They won’t get a visa to enter the country in the first place unless they have a British team, therefore they will have to Poland or Sweden where they might struggle with their families for English language schools, it’s really that simple, nobody’s saying that they will not ride in Poland but lots of the Australian lads have families too consider

Well if he wants to ride for Belle Vue that's his choice, if he prefers Poland on weekends that's also his choice, basically whenever Belle Vue decide to ride in whatever League, riders have the choice to make in the same way that most of us choose where and when to work, sometimes we have to do what we don't like doing.
