They don’t exist, what’s the point of having a new team that doesn’t have any fans or a track or any history of fans that would still be alive, inventing a team and expecting fans that don’t exist to attend a track miles away from the town it’s supposed to represent is stuff of the matrix Well it looks like we will be finding out the answer to your question over this coming season. Meanwhile, good luck to all those folk concerned with bringing a new speedway venue to the Premiership.

It wasn't meant to be funny... I found it funny that Speedway was under promoting itself again by only putting a few pictures on socials of some bent poles when trying to raise £10,000. If there's been 10 grands worth of damage I'd expect to see more, I've seen more damage to the fence after some crashes!

I just hope it works because failure of Northampton while the premier league is decimated by numbers will be catastrophic for speedway as a whole, I will go as a new track as I think many will but when the novelty fan wears off they need a fan base

This was my first thought... surely they must have insurance in place and not need the long suffering fans to once again dig into their pockets... And what about CCTV?... Are they trying to identify the culprits?

Tinker
Scumbags, scratters, morons - the list goes on. Anyone know how they might have got in, climbed over a fence? Hope they find the culprits, sorry scumbags!

1 valve Posted just now Report Share Posted just now Go fund now up to £7.5k Yet again speedway folk show their true colours when the chips are down. If a few more of us could “chip-in” a spare tenner or so, then the target will be soon me. Let’s hope some of the cash raised can be used to improve security at the stadium! After all prevention is better than cure.
