Im assuming Connor Coles, Ben Morley and Max James all have to apply to get the 8% reduction which may or may not be granted.....

Morley's been away from the second tier for a couple of years now as well. Two lots of 8% (and a British reduction, if that's still a thing?) would have left him well under a four point average. Would have made him quite a desirable option I'd imagine, if people had known the rule was only applied to the top two leagues.

Think Ablitt average is the real question. As it all doesn’t fit under 40 if you apply the correct discounts.

So very unsure how this team has actually been made.

So I reckon it will be 10.5% off Ablitt average with both discounts applying so he would start the season on a 4.46/4.47 average.

Meaning that he will start just below Lambert who has a 4.48 average I think.

Which in the grand scheme of things is ridiculous really, for a guy who still rode NDL/NDT an was offered two team spots at the start of the season and was going to sign for scunny mid season till he got injured.

Robs ball his rules.

Is adding the percentage reductions together before application within the rules? It certainly doesn’t seem fair. I know it’s not a huge difference but it is different. Maybe someone with a better grasp of the rules could explain.
