As he is still the leaseholder (unless anyone knows any different) then he must be involved.Oxford Speedway Ltd is in Courtney’s name though. 1
Ray Stadia
I imagine it's the same for many speedway operations, but the Oxford situation does highlight the fragility of speedway, which in reality, we have probably known for several years, decades even, as, since year dot, speedway tracks have come and gone. Article in this weeks SS don’t think the season is a gaurenteed done deal.Hope things go in favour of the Speedway though and they see the season out without any problems.

It ultimately depends on what the landlords want if Boothby goes under. All we can do is keep turning up and supporting the team.

With all due respect to the Speedway Star, by the time it goes to print and circulated, the information can be 'old hat' and the actual situation has perhaps moved on? 🤨

Woke23
Looks like Oxford are now considerably weaker. Who do they go for to replace Erik?

spin king junior
Riss needs to retire at this point. Hes been suffering with this illness since 2023 and its looking increasingly unlikely that its going to get better. Needs to do himself, his opponents and club a favour and sadly admit defeat. The sports dangerous enough without a condition that seemingly effects his vision at random times.
