Meeting on may 13th now vs Poole in the KOC new date for Edinburgh match to be confirmed as and when.

May 27th apparently.

Good news for the Cheetahs on the Stadium issue being sorted. I wonder how the Oxford Mail will report it!?

Reading the Letters in SS I totally agree with Micky Reynolds it not in there best interests to not have Cash Turnstile on Race Night. It certainly would not harm their crowd levels. Excuses not have one seem a bit off.IMO

Crowd levels seemed to have dropped off a bit.

Eddie Kennett in for Riss for 28 days.

I mean, if I were an Oxford Fan, id rather have Riss. However, Kennett is a better rider than one who isn't riding.

Hopefully he can return to his once fine form. Preferably after the Comets meeting though.

But is he a better rider than the points scored by rider replacement or guests?

IMO all Kennet does is fill in a blank space, yes a gating tart, but a few of the tracks will be new to him as the last time he was programmed to ride in this league he went missing for the season after 3 laps . Seems to be an OAP league these days, no younger riding coming through

No younger riders? Like William Cairns, Cooper Rushen, Jody Scott, Luke Harrison, Ryan Ingram for example?

Availability of young riders, if you look at the riders in the league and take away the older guys late 30s up take away the Aussie's and danes then you don't have many UK riders left

If it wasn’t for all the double downers from the Premier then these and other riders would be far more established in the sport instead of being sacked when off form. Alfie Bowtell is a prime example of the system - and under 30?

My understanding of the rules are Riss could soon only be replaced by a 75% guest, so is Kennett better than a guest of 5.68 or below?

Given the Ipswich statement regarding Eddie’s lack of effort and enthusiasm and subsequent loss of his place in that team then I’m going to say no

The first meeting back will be the test. If he finds himself at the back could just poodle round and then stop.

If he gates he will mix it for a bit but as soon as he is passed it will be the old looking down at the bike trick.

He will be gone by the time England play at the World Cup.
