IainB
Starting a new topic for the AGM as YouHave2Minutes seems to have had a nervous breakdown and changed their name and the titles of all of the topics they started. Neila
Maybe some promoters are not happy with the rumours being too near the truth, and put pressure on people to delete the subject 1

It’s not the first time he’s done it. He’ll be back….unfortunately. A bigger attention seeker than Phil Morris and Vinnie Foord’s family combined.
Teromaafan
Don’t know about the BPSL (sorry Iain!) but the BSPL ( or is it BSPA!) AGM has now been put back to 30th Never to allow them more time to think up excuses for a 5 team top tier who will share the only 20 riders prepared to still race in the UK following the reduced points limit and clamping down on doubling up. The fixture list will be carefully compiled to make sure that Bomber is not lined up to race against himself in any meeting. 1
RS50 Posted yesterday at 09:22 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:22 AM If it's true, that it's been put back from November to January, I wonder what decisions can be made then, but not now. Anyone have any serious ideas?

Anyone have any serious ideas? This cant be true can it ? Clubs are already announcing signings, led by the Chairman and his club , so the major decisions must have already been made or are they delaying in the hope that someone buys Sheffield and Northampton doesn't just turn out to be another pipe dream. AndiCapp Posted yesterday at 04:28 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:28 PM (edited) No points limit and no decision on 2 leagues just sums this sport up. The hierachy should be forced out as this sport is repaidly decending into a shambles. How can any club get ready for a season without knowing any rulings that will have bearing moving forward. Is this because of a lack of teams? Lack of a TV deal? Lack of riders? Wtf is going on! Edited yesterday at 04:31 PM by AndiCapp

Neila
TV deal or no TV deal , IF no decision is made this week, this puts all clubs plans for next season out of the window. How can you approach a sponsor ideally before Xmas, to sell the new speedway season, when at the moment it appears no-one knows WTF is going on
Technik
At this stage it's easy to announce a couple of signings without knowing the upper points limit, Plymouth have already put Nicholls & King in their team for 2026 both have big averages which will take up a good part of their limit but all it really means is they may be using weaker riders at reserve or to give it a twist "Allowing young British riders a chance". Yet Redcar are set to announce their whole team at their Christmas party so the rules must already have been agreed , surely ? They have already stated they were forced by the new rules to release King. Edited 21 hours ago by Fortythirtyeight

To date there’s not been a single premiership signing announced
Marky_Mark
Could it be….. No TV deal and they go with 5 teams, TV deal and they use the money to run another team or 2? I’ve heard a rumour that all teams are prepared to chip in and run another team between them to secure a TV deal if that deal requires a minimum number of teams like the last one did. For example run a team on an existing track

The TV deal has never required a minimum number of teams. It's the BSPL themselves who want at least 6 clubs to make a PL worthwhile.
