BluPanther
1. Sheffield 2. Belle Vue 3. Ipswich 4. Leicester 5. Kings Lynn It's hard to split 3rd 4th and 5th at the moment tbh...

Given that the two leg semi final will be a lucrative pair of fixtures, will we see teams "manipulating" their final league position to finish 2nd or 3rd rather going for the top slot? It's not like you get anything for winning the pre playoff league is it?

siggysigalos
Ipswich...5th If Northampton come to tapes...Then Ipswich 6th Top 4 is a different proposition, they will all look to win at Foxhall, some will, Ipswich could win some, and we know the team can change quickly. and they certainly will need to,but 1st Sheffield 2nd King's Lynn 3rd Leicester 4th Belle Vue To be fair those 2 could swap places

Sheffield (Strong Spearhead, Second Strings who've yet to reach their peak and are likely to improve again, Etheridge is much better than his 3.00 GSA who was riding with an injury when signed last season) 2. Belle Vue (Needs drastic improvement from Blodorn & Zischke imo but Kurtz/Bewley put up so many points so it's hard to see them outside of the play-offs) 3. Leicester (Huge potential throughout the Team imo, Loyal Riders to British Speedway who will all turn up every week, The Top 5 are all capable of increasing starting GSA's imo) 4. King's Lynn (It's a better side than what they've had in previous years granted but who in the Top 5 is actually going to increase their starting GSA? I don't see where the improvement is but that's just my opinion) 5. Ipswich (It's a Team built to win at Home imo, May have a little outside chance of finishing 4th if Musielak can get back to his Sheffield form and if Hellstrom-Bangs takes to British tracks well) 2026 Champions (Sheffield) They'll walk the League if everyone stays fit imo. CTRSports
My view only... Belle Vue to top the league standing, outstanding top 2 in Kurtz & Bewley, jury is still out on Zischke and Cairns but Blodorn should kick-on much depends on what Kildemand and Cook do... I believe Sheffield will make the play-off, solid team with both Holders alongside Pickering. 3rd place I believe will go to Ipswich, they have a lot of good experienced riders, but a lot will depend on Musielek reproducing his old Sheffield form, capable of beating most at Foxhall and he will be good away, they have enough to win at home and pick up enough bonus points I have Leicester finishing 4th, Kemp needs to kick on again, Gilkes is a solid RS, Morris probably is the Key rider alongside Kemp to see if they finish higher... Plucked for Kings Lynn to finish bottom, Frick has a high average but think there are 2 better riders (in terms of ability) ahead of him and at least one number 5, Lynn for me are weak at 2, 6 & 7 on paper, decent 1,3,4 & 5 but will they get backed up often enough, can see narrow defeats at home and on the road.... This is something I pointed out when it was first muted as an option (and since adopted) The fairest solution is that the team that finishes top get a share of gate receipts from the semi final participants

What not? Look at American Football (yes a stratosphere ahead financially a sport I know) The play off finances are completely centralised
