Even recently we had Bewley, Lambert and Wuffy battling for the top prize , now those three won’t be there plus Nicholls and Lawson which makes it a really open but weaker field , I’ve booked to go on the 15th but was hoping to see some of the British big guns, will this meeting determine the shape of the World Team Cup Squad ? Also disappointing that Lambert has seemingly not bothered, I thought he'd at least attempt to retain his title. Let's be honest, he'd probably win riding backwards if Bewley doesn't turn up. I assume the wild cards are there to try and tempt Lambert/Woffinden over late in the day? Still, on the plus side it'll probably be a very tight meeting. No "stars" at the NSS can often make a very good meeting... Maybe Richard Lawson may fancy it if Lambert and Bewley are not there?... Saturday night Speedway in Manchester... What's not to like?..
