Not one called Rushden either, as far as i know, but posters keep mentioning them.

Auto correct one assumes rather than somebody deliberately being a berk.

dohhh, you know who I mean Daniel BEWLAY ... the bloke who rides for Belle Vue.  Connor Rushen is always being mis-spelt. Along with that Australian fella Sedgeman ..I always got his name wrong.

Bewley

Having heard the seeded riders and the draw for the British Semi final on BSN last night it looks really week British final compared to years gone by, years ago you were lucky if your No.1 in the National league made it.  Even recently we had Bewley, Lambert and Wuffy battling for the top prize , now those three won’t be there plus Nicholls and Lawson which makes it a really open but weaker field , I’ve booked to go on the 15th but was hoping to see some of the British big guns, will this meeting determine the shape of the World Team Cup Squad ?

Of the 8 seeded riders some may not be riding due to injury or other issues, Dan Bewley Ben Barker Charlie Wright and Craig cook , so the top 12 of the semi final may qualify 😲

Hopefully Charles is back by then

Is the Champion defending his title?

It's clearly been declining for a while but it's still mad that the likes of Simon Lambert and Kyle Newman are within the top 24 British riders (no offence to either).

Also disappointing that Lambert has seemingly not bothered, I thought he'd at least attempt to retain his title. Let's be honest, he'd probably win riding backwards if Bewley doesn't turn up.

I assume the wild cards are there to try and tempt Lambert/Woffinden over late in the day?

Still, on the plus side it'll probably be a very tight meeting.

No "stars" at the NSS can often make a very good meeting...

Maybe Richard Lawson may fancy it if Lambert and Bewley are not there?...

Saturday night Speedway in Manchester...

What's not to like?..

Remember when all "our" foreign riders "had" to return home to compete in their national championships or they'd receive a ban/fine... how times change 🤔
