If a possible shortage of jet fuel is a reality and not just another media catastrophisation, how would the PL look if riders based themselves and prioritised Poland over UK racing... Belle Vue and Northamptoningham could be in trouble... I'm sure our leaders have a plan in place to carry on running though 😁

It’s quite possible that this could cause issues in a few weeks. Ryanair have announced that they have been assured that fuel will be available until May and they have hedged their purchases already.

Other airlines and holiday companies may need to invoke a clause in many travel contracts with regards to operating costs increasing and add 20% onto flights

One thing you can guarantee is that even if there is an "inkling" of any flight issues, then Poland will demand their riders all go and stay out there so it doesnt impact their leagues...

Very valid question I work in investment markets and have a feeling if this isn't sorted in next 3-4 weeks (latest) and the oil will need to be flowing again ourselves and Europe are going to have major issues possibly on a par with covid lockdowns. Diesel is going to be a problem outside of the Gulf two main sources are the US and Russia , Russia has three big diesel processing plants and Ukraine bombed two of them last week so you can see the issues coming down the chute.

One old fool and his delusions of power really has f--ked the entire world up pre war Iran controlled roughly 4% of world oil they now control 20%.

It is bizarre and the huge amounts of grift in the open doesn't even try to hide it but again no one seems fussed or their to scared if they try and stop him some of the crazy militia that support him will turn up at their home with guns.
