As excited as I am about this Lynn side I think the two reserves will find life tough initially and Ipswich have an awful lot of Foxhole know how in their side, so I reckon a home win of something in the region of 48-42. Edwards should have the beating of both Lynn reserves let alone Bangs. It MAY be the best time to face them while Bangs gets to grips with a notoriously tricky Foxhall but with his pedigree, he should still be coming out on top. The more I look at Ipswich’ team the more I think they’ll go unbeaten at home. I think both Sheffield and Leicester have sides that can be dangerous around Foxhall but if they ride to their ability should be able to beat everyone at home and the long tails of belle vue and lynn will be their undoing on the road and as you say Foxhall a particularly tough away track. He was excellent on his visits last season and dropped very few points, and obviously doesn’t have Emil and Doyle to contend with this year either. He’s always been half decent in the past but he really stepped it up a gear last season like he did pretty much everywhere really. Will be interesting to see if he keeps that standard up, or if it was just one of those seasons where everything seemed to fall in to place for him. What do you suggest the 'powers that be' should have done to cater for a rider incurring significant damage and cost in his first race of the season? - signing on fee? - higher points money? - increased admission charge?
