It says on the clubs official site that nils is awaiting medical clearance to fly as he has been sidelined by a punctured lung.
think it’s unfair to question his commitment under these circumstances.
Article also says if he gets the all clear, he hopes to be riding in both of Mondays matches

personally, I am glad he is doing some meetings to get sharp snd , match fit

Strange call running a guest for their opening night....

I suppose it does get "newbies" used to it "early doors"...:D

I would have thought RR would have been the choice given four of their riders would get more track time, and money....

Let's hope Kyle doesn't become the match winner, as he would become the Northampton fans' first hero!!!:D....

They'd sell more Foxes pens using RR. Missed opportunity there.

I know it's a rural location, so presumably it won't be T2at getting in and out of the place?

Yes it’s fine. Can be a bit chaotic with the really big crowds, but I doubt that will be the case for a normal speedway meeting.

Really hoping to come here about 10 tonight and read. Wow what a fantastic race track, brilliant racing, great stadium, no issues with anything, absolutely packed out, will defo be returning again and again

Baldy, even if all the above does come to pass -- and I truly hope it does -- there will be posts from idiots, nit-picking over the smallest of gripes, rather than praising the success..........

I think most attending will have an expectation of "first night teething problems"....

And it would be truly amazing if all went perfectly to plan...

Let's hope 3000+ attend as that generally would mean the crowd levels, after the novelty has worn off and generic fans from other tracks have all attended, will settle down to a decent level....

Running out of programmes, (and even chips!), would be a good sign....

Best of luck to Mark Lemon, and the rest, the weather looks decent so hopefully a good turn out...

I hope they’ve got a decent podium for all the big individual meetings they’re not running like other clubs.
