topaz325
This Saturday sees the Comets take on the Bears from Redcar at the new time of 6pm. Hopefully Craig Cook is back to full fitness after his shoulder issue at Berwick last week. Redcar again will be tough customers and have some real track specialists in Jason Edwards and Nicolai Klindt, so the Comets will have to be on good form and sharp out of the gate. This meeting sees the home debut for Max Perry as a Comet. Edited Thursday at 07:53 PM by topaz325

Neila
This could be a cracker, Redcar usually do well at the GT tyres Northside arena, but the last 2 meetings the patched up Comets have done a great job getting 2 fantastic wins, predict a Comets win but run off for the bonus points 🔵⚪🏁😃 UTC hope the racing is as good as last week, with yesterday's rain lots of moisture in the track

Marksman
It was a pretty decent meeting and crowd again today, track looks totally different without the sun on it. Bears did their job congrats! Comets team was lacking today and just wasn’t set up for heat advantages. It was always going to be a struggle, need our injured riders back soon. Looks like Comets need Berwick to score 55 or less to finish ahead of them and still qualify for the semi finals. 56 would mean points and points difference will be level. Assuming Edinburgh don’t go and win away at Glasgow that is 😆
Fortythirtyeight
Slightly surprised with the Bears win as Edwards was disappointing and Jenkins isnt contributing yet but the youngsters at reserve made up for that. When will Mulford and Jenkins drop down ? Klindt came good….this match. Comets weakness at reserve meant few heat wins and cost them the match. Not sure how they resolve that one. Good match , good crowd.

Redcar reserves must be the best in the league both Jody and Ace rode fantastic . Allen good value, Klindt so fast, brilliant to watch. Jeppersened never knows when he's beaten. Howarth great guest.eee Comets were always going to find it tough with missing riders and so it proved. However i would take a loss every week to watch racing of that quality. If you want to watch quality speedway please pay a visit to Workington.
