Hope cooper is just shaken up and not injured. But this news turns the result back in favour of the bears 😃

Just a wrist strain, he should be back by Wednesday at Poole. His hand has swollen badly and with a bit of grip may struggle to hold on, putting him and other riders at risk so best to rest for a few days and come back stronger.

Taken the sensible option, got a long future ahead of him, no point riding in these circumstances.

The loss of Cooper is a massive blow for this meeting. Had us down for a win but not now. Will still get the stream but is that rain nearby going to save us? Not this time.

I wouldn't call it a massive blow, win or lose Poole will make the play-offs. If it was a KOC tie, then I'd say that!

Cooper would probably score roughly 8. His replacement won’t score. Big swing in team points.

Well the Pirates defied the odds to pull out a great win, without Coops and Bowes. OK we benefitted from the loss of Fraser but zero points for Coops rides.

Have to say that Cairns has come on leaps and bounds from last season. Looks a seriously good young rider. The addition of Rushen has given the two lads an extra internal battle to come out on top.

Thought Redcar were poor especially Jenkins who was woeful. They just didn’t have the same battling fire under them that Pirates did.
Special mention for Kyle who never knows when he is beaten.

Your knowledge of speedway gets worse every week

Poole were hot favourites with Rushen and Bowes

The loss of Bowes made you stronger

The loss of Rushen made you back to where you was … hot favourites still

You wasn’t weakened and you won as EVERYONE expected

So so boring this defied the odds garbage

Excellent result. Kerr and Cairns imperious. Cook not really himself. Overall the team done good. Well done Havvy.

I think Cairns is the one to watch for future success over Rushen. I've said it before granted but Will is showing control, whereas Cooper is still a bit wild. But having said that it's bloody great having both as Pirates.
