Aries
https://ipswichwitches.co/king-tobi-getting-back-to-his-best/ Jake Mulford, originally booked to guest for Ipswich in this meeting, now guests for Sheffield instead 😂 Rider replacement for Chris Holder also. 6

Brilliant...... Edit. If PHB suffers a relapse and cannot ride, could Jake ride for both teams? Although, thinking about it, that could mean up to 14 rides for him, which is too many I am sure all would agree.... So, maybe, he just rides for Sheffield but whatever he scores also counts for Ipswich..? Edited June 3 by mikebv

I see Sheffield are strengthening for this one, could be close, although the forecast isn't great 😉

Could've drawn it out of a hat as to which team got Jake Mulford's points added on to their team total at the end of the meeting lol.

DaveWayne
Will be interesting to see if this thread gets the same hour by hour analysis of the latest forecasts as the Lynn thread did on Monday, or was that just special treatment because people don't like Buster ? I assume the Ipswich fans who were all over it, despite the meeting not involving them, will be equally critical of their own team if the forecast rain doesn't arrive. 😉

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Track has been/is currently under water following torrential downpours in last 24 hours Check out the picture on the website post notifying the postponement https://ipswichwitches.co/sheffield-clash-postponed/?fbclid=IwdGRjcASNB_5jbGNrBI0H0mV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHhRpHhjwnrY1UONANNQC6Stoet_HzD5t61ACn8rWkz7awjY8zxPAPk6WD2BK_aem_bD6tBxUUHu-rP0l9uq9gYQ

Integrity matters to me, shame it doesn't apply to others.😉 In that post on the Witches site, see who comes last in the consideration "an early decision has been taken to minimise any inconvenience to teams, riders and fans."🙄 Edited June 3 by SPEEDY69
Baldyman
Not sticking up for them, but that track does look like it's pretty much underwater.

Our garden was full of hail stones yesterday and puddles and we only live a few minute walk from the staidum
TB1
Once again speedway in Britain has backed itself into a corner. Fixed race nights ( whether you agree or disagree) will contribute to the death of the sport in the UK. Already we have a pile of fixtures stacking up with limited dates on which to stage them. If the top flight promoters won't deal or cannot deal with the problem, then quite frankly the sport deserves to die on its arse!

Can people just go about their daily business and not constantly moan about speedway in this country. What are you moaning about… the fact it’s raining and we can’t race? That’s the weather’s fault not the promoters, can people give it a rest for a bit please jheeeez. You want them to be able to just race Friday now because it’s raining Thursday? Please sit down and tell me how you can make that work. And if you can’t, don’t bother commenting just for the sake of posting.
