I think he rides at No.2 though doesn't he? Not quite the same as being at reserve.

How has the feeling that you have big hitters sunk in after only a few seasons and why has the attendance dropped when it reportedly remains strong (strongest in the country according to some). During this time span the witches spent many seasons in the second division. Is it now a case of big hitters or nothing and why can’t you get back to supporting teams assembled in the way you are normally associated with? 2 hours ago, SPEEDY69 said: It hasn't, not markedly anyway other than the usual variations seen throughout a season. Opinions will vary. Attendance notably increased when first Doyle, then particularly Emil arrived and stayed consistently good. Speedy may not have noticed a decrease (or much of one) this season, but I have definitely noticed a drop off from previous seasons. Not an alarming one by any means, but a drop off all the same. Again, that’s to be expected surely.
chun
I wonder if Jenkins thought twice before taking the guest booking. How he performs might well swing the result

He does, but it still isn’t encouraging is it? He’s usually much better than this in his homeland. For whatever reason, he’s struggling badly this year.

If it doesn’t then it perhaps is a concern

That was from his interview pre-season. But I actually thought his gating looked pretty decent in the few meetings for us! I feared the worst but he popped out in front a few times at Foxhall

Like it’s a psychological thing. If Ipswich view him as a long term investment then they should try to help him. Gating is something that can be learned surely. He can clearly ride the bike but it’s no good if you a few bike lengths down by the backstraigh each race.
