Speedy may not have noticed a decrease (or much of one) this season, but I have definitely noticed a drop off from previous seasons. Not an alarming one by any means, but a drop off all the same. 
 

Again, that’s to be expected surely.

He does, but it still isn’t encouraging is it? He’s usually much better than this in his homeland. For whatever reason, he’s struggling badly this year.

He’s admitted himself he can’t gate, which is why he claims he rides the way he does because he’s always playing catch up. That was from his interview pre-season. But I actually thought his gating looked pretty decent in the few meetings for us! I feared the worst but he popped out in front a few times at Foxhall

I’ve taken out the subscription on the Swedish league this year and on a few occasions he has properly missed the start completely.  Like it’s a psychological thing.  If Ipswich view him as a long term investment then they should try to help him.  Gating is something that can be learned surely.  He can clearly ride the bike but it’s no good if you a few bike lengths down by the backstraigh each race.

That's nothing Iain, I believe in 1988 we faced Kings Lynn home and away 14 times! Mind you, i believe there was 10 teams in the British League that year.

Fair play to the Ipswich promotion, they now provide audio for the streaming service before the meeting and some of the interviews during the meeting to those at the track. And on the big screen of course.

I do wish the Ipswich riders would do a lap of honour on the stock car track if they win a heat and most definitely when we get a 5-1. It costs nothing and the crowd appreciates it.

Well cooper did tonight to be fair to him after his win! And Brennan came round but only to practice his starts 😂 pretty sure king came round too. Not the same as Doyle going sideways on bend two stock cars concrete track and then the back straight on his rear wheel though!

I agree, but is it nervousness as the crowds are lower than last year with a weaker side. I think the expectation of fans is possibly expecting the worst and hoping for the best. 7 wins out of 9 isn't to be sniffed at but with only Belle Vue and Sheffield away to boot have we really been tested yet? I think we are solid but quite honestly I don't know the answer.
