Odds On
Hard riding?..yes.....dirty riding?...not in a million years! Some of us who have seen more sunsets than we would like to admit, back in the day you would get 3 or 4 instances like this in one meeting, however if there was instance of dirty riding, it would certainly kick off either on the track or in the pits, or the victim would have a notepad in the tool box with the culprits name on it...then in twelve months time fans would think "jeez that was a bit uncalled for".

Agree, just a couple of racing incidents nothing out of the ordinary in many meetings.
Gavan
Good to see Shovlar showing us the video of Rushen kicking out …. He made as much contact with Jye as Jye did when he ‘assaulted’ Rushen ….the way Poole fans are speaking (ban for Jye….. assaulting a minor) really does show a lack of understanding totally

As for him being a 'minor', he is a big tall young man. He is a future champion, but he needs to calm down a touch. In my opinion I think that’s why he excluded him from the second rerun by the ref

Cooper Rushen doesn’t kick Etheridge at all, just outgated him and Etheridge falls. All four back fair decision. You have provided video evidence of him kicking Jye and then stated he doesn’t? Are you trying to gaslight everyone?

I think he is trying to highlight that Rushen did move his leg as many do but his leg didn't make contact with Jye's bike, the fall can about because Rushen's bike made contact with Jye's. We need more backup to Bewley and Lambert and riding just in our domestic league isn’t enough. Tom Brennan and Dan Thompson are getting there but it takes time and effort and I fully support any British rider wanting to go down this route. British Speedway does not need our youngsters to gain experience from the best in the world, especially at Will Cairns level. We have a gold medal winning GB Team, that rarely rides in the UK, we have a recent world number 2, and a real contender this year for the title itself before Dan Bewley's accident? and a fairly recent 3 x World Champion, yet the sport has continued to sink lower and lower in this country. We need our riders to be turning up and riding for their contracted teams before chasing personal glory. Assuming you're a Pirate, I don't know why you're so happy to see your club, and cup holders, crash out of the competition thanks to no shows from some of the team members 🤷♂️
Deltalima
We will just have to agree to disagree on the merits of our British riders wanting to improve themselves. Of course I am not happy with Poole losing but we were beaten by the better team over the two legs.

I'm just interested in the mind set of a fan that finds it acceptable that "their" teams' rider decides to race elsewhere and is okay with it and will happily overlook it while searching for other excuses/reasons. I just can't get my head around it.

Thats the frustration, the fixture planning in the Championship has left a lot to be desired for a long while now but seems to be getting worse. 9 minutes ago, Gambo95 said: Poole were always at Berwick. Again though why would the fixture planners send Poole to Berwick on a Saturday when at least one of their riders would be racing in SGP2 qualifiers? Bonkers.

Especially changing Fixture to Semi Final of Cup. IMO they thought they would trounce Berwick in their Home Leg,but Lawson’s mystery injury threw a spanner in the works and it backfired on them.
