I’m a big advocate for individualism, but Kemp turning up dressed like a Spice Girls back-up dancer, then putting in a performance like that is wild.

For those who missed it, the Glasgow team’s track walk consisted of six guys wearing club merchandise and tracksuits, then one wearing an oversized cream tracksuit and Bono-like blue tinted sunglasses.😂

Had it not been for Hausl’s crash and retirement, our stand-in number one would have scored zero.

Mental.

Hopefully Cluff’s van breaks down on the way home. Horrible little dwarf.

I honestly thought “he’s done”. The way he hit that fence and the pace, the way he lay motionless, it looked horrific. An older lady next to us was a bit upset.

Cluff was last, so this happened right in front of him and if he didn’t see it then, he certainly did when - for some bizarre reason - he did a lap of honour and passed Pedersen as he lay motionless on the ground. He then stopped his bike on the fourth bend and proceeded to gesture towards the Monarchs fans while the rest of the stadium remained silence. The place erupted in boos.

Well deserved win for the Monarchs. Thompson and Thomson were incredible, but that left a horrible feeling I’ve never associated with speedway.

You missed that the medical staff had to wait on the centre green whilst Cluff rode past the injured Pedersen, who hadn't moved from where he landed. At least one of the medics shouted at Cluff for getting in their way

No deflecting; I’ve twice said Edinburgh were deserved winners.

I’m in the minority in that I hope the Monarchs do well. I enjoy a trip to Armadale, even when Glasgow aren’t involved and in my younger years, would regularly do Armadale on a Friday and Ashfield on a Sunday. I said I thought you were title challengers last season and said the same this season. I wasn’t confident going into last night; I think you’ve built a very strong side.

However what I won’t tolerate is indecency and an extreme lack of respect.

Celebrating while another rider (who you’ve now passed twice) lies motionless on the track and subsequently preventing paramedics from reaching him sooner… in a race where you came third, only because of said incident because you were dead last before it… is God awful behaviour.

Give the boy a break, he had just trebled his highest wage of the season he was probably excited. 😅

Seriously though, must be encouraging to see Hausl start to find some form. The side was built poorly from the off IMO with two poor reserves. It relied on both Hausl and Pedersen to hit the ground running and make light work of their assessed averages which neither have done. Next year though with both on real averages, a good side could be built. You have to wonder if you would bother retaining Harris again though, has lost his edge this year.

Chris Harris is currently just five rides away from a full-time SGP return (as is Paco Castagna).    To suggest Bomber has "lost his edge" is a bit bold.    He has been inconsistent at times in 2026, but on his day, still retains the special sauce.    IMO.

You have just completely contradicted yourself massively. The fact Castagna is also just as close to the GPs as Harris shows what an easy route it was to get there. 
 

Harris has been poor this season and is getting on in age, so yes I think its fair to say he has lost his edge.

Very bizarre choice of guest unless Kemp agreed to do it for nothing more than travel money and a standard pay per point return, but you can probably figure he only agreed to it based on a guaranteed points return and then people wonder why some riders cant be asked.

I think the fact that not one Edinburgh fan has stood up for Cluff speaks volumes.

Also the two guests have had a massive impact on the result.

i would not pay him a penny after that performance. 
 

there are some riders you don't ask to guest and he is one of them. 

Its like teams who would ask Bjarne Pedersen to guest for them vs Poole. Why would you bother?

R/R giving everyone a ride would of been a much better decision and probably would of given Glasgow the win. 
 

Glasgow have improved ten fold, great track , great fans, great stadium but whoever makes the team decisions needs the boot.

With it being nothing more than a glorified friendly R/R for Kyle should have been the choice.

Kemp in all likelihood meant we lost but in the grand scheme of thing’s it is all a bit irrelevant. 
 

Knocking them out the playoffs again if we both get there would be nice.

Meeting won and lost at Number 1. Thompson over Kemp.

Tried to be positive when the Comets signed Kemp, but in reality it's probably one of the biggest downgrades I've seen at Workington. Struggle to see how he was consistent enough to average 8 last season.

Should of just brought Antti Vuolas back, who would of gave 110% effort
