Biggest compliment you can pay Robert is how easy he made it look after his first heat. The result in the final was never in doubt from the moment he dropped the clutch. Nerves and composure of steel all night.

give the lad a break, he's just become world champion from miles behind, in the form of his life on his home track. He's probably going to say some silly things, although bar the F word I'm still puzzled at what he said that was so wrong

I value this opinion massively from yourself given your knowledge on tracks not being fit for purpose. Ipswich getting an upgrade leaves Poole with the lowest quality of racing in British speedway and arguably world speedway.

I don’t care about your ‘golden boy’ comment. I’d rather see anyone else win that trophy than someone who turned his back on British speedway yet comes running back for the British final and thinks he is “British champion”. Guy doesn’t even live or ride over here. He struggled to even muster the national anthem first time around, probably still singing the Polish one from last time he sang theirs. Bewley will always be the best British rider in my opinion. If he didn’t get injured I honestly don’t think lambert would have got near him. Lamberts a good rider, just a sh!t person.

Your opinion is your opinion. 

 Personally, he was a deserved winner and was right to show some emotion. He was never really 'in British Speedway' he had to go to Germany as a kid to start his professional career as he was already too good for the level that he could ride at over here then completed his apprenticeship before moving onto the big stage - where he's made a life and his growing family are. 

Every man and his dog knows you have to be in Poland full time to get near that top 15, he's got there and done a very good job getting there. He may not ride in our Micky mouse leagues but he puts that Union Jack on every year an rides his balls off in the world team events..or would you prefer the nice guy Harris who's made a mockery of the Uk system for the last 20 years trailing around at the back? 

And if I was top of the tree and they played that nonsense I wouldn't have sung either.

`There are many tracks with worse racing than Poole. Just the usual regulars putting the boot in. As someone who has been to every track in both league multiple times, Poole is no better or worse than the majority. Just Poole are strong and outgate weak opposition. Don’t expect lesser riders to pass, on any track.

He certainly isn't like Woffy..

A rider who never swore when being interviewed, and dedicated his whole career to riding over here season in, season out, as he won his World Titles..

Incredible from Lambert, he's barely had a bad ride in the second half of the season. Showed no signs of nerves at all, a good 2nd off a tough gate to start and then flawless for the rest of the night.

Fair play to Zmarzlik being straight there to congratulate him. A mention for Kurtz too, must be disappointing to miss out again but I'm sure he'll be in contention again next year and he now has a brilliant opportunity to do it in front of a home crowd.

It’s time for zmarzlik to move to ashtek engines, his engines have looked underpowered for a few meetings now, even when winning last night he was riding the slick parts of the track, trying to make long straights to get up speed, it must be on his mind, lamberts Toruń knowledge showed last night with a couple of his moves but even then he looked a class above anyone else and is a deserved world champion, Kurtz was as fast as ever but seem to relying on the dirt line too much which by the 3/4 races in each block had disappeared, I still can’t believe woryna got excluded for causing lindgren to crash, it was one race I actually filmed and even watching it back lindgren just runs into him and falls but all in all a great nights entertainment, oh and just one other thing, I say this as a proud Brit we need to change our national anthem, it’s dull and sounds like there is someone with a handle winding it up to speed and as for the subject matter well that’s another story, times have changed the country has changed its time for a rethink

Doesn't Robert have a Polish wife ?

Why should she live in the UK, or do you expect them to live in different countries?
