You can call it a racing incident but it was numb from an experienced rider. He didn't try to avoid Tate at all though. Highlights on BSN Facebook page if you'd like to have a look. Poor riding from an experienced rider.

marko
Good news about Tate, I don't agree about a ban for Morris, unlike some who just ride, Nick actually tries to race, that's why its called a "race" not a "ride" Ps I really like the look of the Workington track and how wide it is, when a rider gets it wrong and has to try and save it they have a bit of leeway, when i think it was Pedersen who lifted and managed to save it bar the front wheel catching the fence and throwing him over the handlebars, at some tracks mentioning no names, he would have been buried in the fence and possibly hurt. szkocjasid
Having seen the clash on BSN, my first instinct was that it was a very poor from Morris, I guess Zischke did lock up a little to give Morris the benefit of the doubt that it was just racing, rather than reckless. KJP deserves imense credit for avoiding the fallen riders, well done to him. He certainly scrubbed off the speed, better than Morris did, yes I realise they were taking different lines. No suggestion of a ban from me, just the exclusion from the heat for Morris.
Woke23
The whole thing makes you wonder if the rules are right. One of our best riders around northside gets taken out by an opposition rider in his third race. That means there are two races that require covering from a lesser average rider. That could have lost us the meeting. They should allow remaining races (if he hasnt completed 3 or more races), to be taken by one above and rest below. Each team member must have three completed races. IRR allows for replacement (by a rider below him in the averages, not the one above) to ensure an injured rider can be covered for up to his third ride. Seems fair? Glad Tate has no broken bones, after reviewing the race this morning, I can put it down to a racing incident, Tate cut back a bit while Morris was coming fast on the inside, no malice IMO

One of our best riders at Berwick was taken out by an opposition rider in his third race (after being taken off in his 2nd race by an opposition rider). That meant we had to cover with our other reserve only. That could have cost us the meeting. Good to see Tate isn't to badly injured. Edited August 3 by Gambo95 Info added. Nick got it wrong and was excluded .End Off. 1
CTD26
Absolutely a racing incident. No malice in it from morris just couldn’t scrub his speed off quick enough. Certain people on the updates spouting the usual tripe about it. Like any rider, other than Woryna it seems, would go out there way to purposely attempt to hurt someone. Good win for the comets, watched from sunny Malaga, hope that we are back next season, be a shame to see it all go to waste.
