Poole had the contact with Lightcap through Hancock and Cairns so they had a result but the cupboard is so bare these days I think you can write off 99% of any poles, danes and swedes wanting to come here going forward.

This means outside the UK your really trying to rake over the coals to find any unpolished Aussie or Yank gems there are the odd ones out there with the young lad Berwick signed at reserve at the start of the season.

Brady Langdon looks a really good American prospect also but again due to his Hancock connection the Fords will probably get first dibs if he comes to UK next 2-3 years.

I hope the facility isn't extended, far too many guests are used in all leagues, but if clubs know they don't have to sign a replacement, why even try?

I'm not suggesting Glasgow didn't try, but maybe they found a 6 pointer willing to come, but decided guests would be stronger? Not just Glasgow, all clubs.

Clubs actively agree to meetings taking place (usually away from home), knowing their riders will be missing but will already have lined up a track specialist ringer, or two, or three, to step in..

I remember BV once riding at Arena with, I think it was, four missing due to Zagar riding in his National Championship and three others in GP Challenges..

They brought in three ex Arena riders and ran RR...

They had their best performance there in years!!!  

NB.  It goes without saying that any proper sport, one with credibility and integrity, wouldn't have countenanced such a thing taking place and the governing body simply wouldn't have sanctioned the meeting to be ran..

And Peterborough would always turn up at Arena missing the Dryml brothers when they had them and used small track riders as guests.

Its all gone wrong for him at the wrong time of the season for us.

Happened when he was a pirate a few years back. I remember him winning races for fun, passing Masters at Poole, he did similar to Cooper in that his average went from 2 to a mid 5. But then come the business end he was at number 2 and barely scored a point. A shame as there’s a good rider in there but he’s certainly struggling to show it

Yes true but seemed quite harsh to me, I am sure most referees would have let it go, I have certainly seen worse and the ref has let it go. The one. The one he got his first warning for was definitely correct.

Oxford used to turn up without Lucas Dryml too even though he was riding abroad.

Banned for what exactly, he didnt stamp on him as some are claiming. Bomber has stated what happened, hand bags, nothing more.
