I think he’d be better suited returning to Belle Vue and the NSS if it was possible. The best place to get his mojo back I think.

Same here, I like the lad a lot and he's on a nice GSA but I think he may have peaked as a rider tbh.

I'd happily go top heavy with a No.1, King, Musielak and Woryna + a newcomer on a 5.00 to fill in at No.2.

Only two I’d be bringing back from this lot are King and Musielak. 
 

Need to keep Hurry away from the team building in 2027 also. Keep him on by all means, just let him manage the team he’s given.

If I was in Richard's shoes then I'd be asking Scotty Nicholls if he'd be interested in becoming Team Manager in 2027.

I think it will be a complete revamp in 27.

In 2 minds about Brennan tbh. Not sure on King on a higher average.

I personally think we’ll have a big hitter at 1 & someone who’s marketable.

After that I think we’ll see a younger set up.

I’ve never thought he was greatly suited to Belle Vue and a track like Ipswich was far better suited to his racing…can’t see Belle Vue really wanting him back to be honest

It depends who is listened to. Can have all the ambition and finance in the world but that won’t help you if you’ve no idea how to put a successful team together.

Good to hear Coleman addressing the supporters at the end as well. Again dangling the carrot of things being much better next year and exciting times ahead at Foxhall. 
 

He can certainly talk the talk, and he deserves the chance to walk the walk. 
 

Grateful that he stepped in personally and gave us speedway again this year.

I don't think he has an 'ego'. I applaud any rider who tries to better themselves by dropping easy money in our Championship and trying to crack the much harder Polish leagues.....unfortunately it didn't work out for Tom this year and he appears to have regressed. A season in the Championship might be sensible if he cant get a Polish gig but I wouldn't give up on that avenue if I was him.

King crowd favourite and has been fantastic all season but he'll be on a average that he won't attain in a stronger League.

Musielak on the other hand has proven that he's able to attain big averages in a stronger League when not riding as a No.1.

For me Mayfield really should pencil these three in (Riding Order) and then build the rest of the side around them.

I wouldn't have Brennan, has been poor all season and not really improved since moving to No.4.  Woryna would be an injury risk for sure!

Might not be in our hands anyway re Brennan. After a pretty disastrous year he may decide a change of scenery and a fresh start maybe his best bet.

I 100% would stick by Brennan.

He was a massive part of our premiership winning team in 2025. He had the 13th best average in the 2nd polish league in 2025 (just under 8.00). He scored 10 points in the European championship round 2 this year. Beating Dudek, Jepsen Jensen and Michelsen at points in the night. 

His situation this year was difficult, pushed into number 1 at Ipswich and being dumped from Bydgoszcz after scoring 9+1, 6, 6+1 in his first 3 rounds. Also some riders just have bad seasons every now and then.

He's still got 2-3 years before most riders reach their prime, he comes in on a nice average and has experience of racing against top riders. 

Finally, letting a rider go to a direct rival on a nice average is really not a good idea. I don't want to see him score big in the 2027 playoffs for Belle Vue.

When he rode for the Aces, I always had a "Steve Worrall" feeling to Tom..

ie There is a very good rider in there, but "something" will prevent him consistently reaching that international level...

The pressure to perform when he has to step up seems to be the challenge for him...

Birmingham had pretty much zero pressure given they were so poor, which I think reflected in his riding....

And at both the Aces and at Ipswich he has had two genuine World Class riders keeping pressure off him..

I watched him in Sweden last season against the larger number of top riders over there, and he definitely started to look more aggressive on the bike, and in one race pushed Zmarzlik out of contention in a race with a very robust manoeuvre.. 

Then he got badly injured pre season which I think has (as you could expect), dropped him back a bit this year... 

A big season for him next I would suggest as an indicator as to how his career will progress..

Will he just end up a solid UK rider, with maybe a 2nd or 3rd tier contract in Poland? Or will he become a consistent SEC or even GP performer over the next few years, with a top tier Polish contract..?.

I think any team would want him if they can get two top level riders at One and Five, and Ipswich should be in the box seat for that, given they will want to take advantage of this seasons average..
