Watching Drew trailing in last or worse, seeing him pull up at the back, was doubly galling as we were treated to replays of races from the BV match 7 days earlier. These included Drew blasting round the outside, scoring 6+2 including a victory over Brady Kurtz. The man is a mystery.
Aries
I thought they were talking about Sedgmen not Kemp?
cowboy cookie returns?
It’s Kemps attitude that made Louis drop him from Ipswich when he was seen as the next wonder boy. Has the ability & bags of potential but sadly looks to be another who massively underachieves!!

Poole dropped him because of his attitude. Maybe in this case Leicester were not too worried as it was not a meeting they had to win. I’m assuming the riders still need to earn and they get paid per point? Ok maybe some of the top boys are on some sort of guarantee, but I wouldn’t have thought the likes of kemp would be. I think that's an acceptable number, if you want paid more, score more, simple!

If people think riders will go through the motions because the result is immaterial to their CLUB then they live in cloud cuckoo land. Most riders are blissfully unaware of the score during the meeting. But are fully aware of their own scoring.
Happy Hunter
Having a suspicious mind I'm wondering if any average massaging has been going on in readiness for next season or for the one, or possibly three meetings, in October.

Play offs are not included in the averages for that very reason

Not sure about your specific question. But sometimes I want to kick Drew from here to next Wednesday. As a speedway fan, regardless of team allegance, his inconsistent performances just frustrate the hell out of me.
