keep up.  it was drew kemp.  he went off to put his town top back on

I watched this meeting on the stream. Watching Drew trailing in last or worse, seeing him pull up at the back, was doubly galling as we were treated to replays of races from the BV match 7 days earlier. These included Drew blasting round the outside, scoring 6+2 including a victory over Brady Kurtz.
The man is a mystery.

And at his home track he should be much better than that. Poole dropped him because of his attitude. Maybe in this case Leicester were not too worried as it was not a meeting they had to win.

I’m assuming the riders still need to earn and they get paid per point? Ok maybe some of the top boys are on some sort of guarantee, but I wouldn’t have thought the likes of kemp would be.

According to Luke Killeen's Vlog most riders are on a minimum three point guarantee...

Play offs are not included in the averages for that very reason

But will the reduction of some riders averages before the play offs mean, for example, that Drew Kemp will drop down to reserve for the play off matches in October?

Not sure about your specific question.

But sometimes I want to kick Drew from here to next Wednesday. As a speedway fan, regardless of team allegance, his inconsistent performances just frustrate the hell out of me.

I think most Lions fans would agree with you!
