I don’t know if it’s the same live, but watching on BSN, it doesn’t look like the riders ever go straight; it’s like a big circle.

The starts are mad too. It’s like the bikes pull the riders towards the first bend, with gates one or two inevitably hitting the front. Gate four has no chance.

Is that just me?

This isn’t a criticism; I enjoy meetings at Scunthorpe. Plenty of actions.

I think they've done some work on Gate 4, I haven't been across the Humber for around 2 years now but when I did go. The guy off Gate 4 especially early on in the meeting usually to about Heat 7 whoever they were would win off gate 4 it used to be a massive advantage.

Last match Scorpions v Tigers. 2 winners  from gate1, 5 winners from gate2, 4 winners from gate 3 and 3 winners from gate4. Don't know what gate positions were in heat 15, but all in all there is a spread of wins across all gates.

Scunny will do well to record a win at home. They will be well beaten at Wimborne Road. 
once again pole got the 2 best youngsters in British speedway. No brainer that both billy cairns and coop rushden-racing would score well above their assessed averages. 
 
With the veterans  Lawson and Kerr and new Aussie kid cook really should have cleaned up ALL  the trophies . 

They messed up in the kocup, pairs .

should add the poff trophy, before their team split up heading for Poland in 2027

Well here you go. It’s a bit of a fallacy that the Poole track doesn’t provide passing. The problem is Poole as a team are normally far too good at home for the opposition.  Pirates gate and not many opposition riders can pass them. There are exceptions. Pickering, Masters and Charles Wright have proved it’s possible to come from the back but lesser riders just don’t have the pace or ability.
