Be careful what you wish for. Many years ago Glasgow borrowed Derwent part to run as Workington Tigers but did not end well due to track staff spraying the track with cow poo, as the tanker was not flushed out, they did not finish the season, lately Redcar track staff not been too good at preparing the track 🤔

So I'm going to guess Klindt and Wright would both be wanted back. If not, then maybe Ace Pijper as I expect him to be back.  3 hours ago, Arthur54 said: Charles Wright, Jody Scott and Charlie Southwick, first 3 confirmed As Meatloaf used to say (sing) two out of three ain't bad. Still time to sign Klindt and Pijper though Well done on keeping Jody Scott and hopefully Poland doesn't interfere with Charles Wright too much. Too early to tell how it'll end up but good start to the team building

There were that many gaps in the UK calendar last year that it might not be a big problem. If both end up in the same division in Poland, then it might not be any harder to have multiple riders unavailable the same night for the same reason. If they could make it work, it'd be a really strong top 2. Big 'if' though

Upskill Teams  Danny King and Charlie Southwick for Jake Allen and Simon Lambert is an upgrade in my eyes. Danny King is that strong number 5 that the bears desperately needed and anyone is better than Lambert at this point. So, a strong top 2 and decent engine room with Jody Scott, a rider who'll have no doubt been in huge demand, a reserve who's average is over 4 and Southwick who I think will surprise a few, I think that team is brilliant, no? Using all 40 points, couldn't be much better. The only question mark for me is Jason Edwards, he's a great rider but will he get a bit stale staying at the same track too long? But at least in this team he's not gonna be the 2nd highest average for most of the season, so there'll be much less pressure on his shoulders. Also you've got to remember that teams like Poole will have to be much weaker than they were this season as they were so far over the limit.
