This is game over, watching that seemed a mismatch. Belle Vue by far the strongest team in the league and by some way. They’re the best team in the league and finished well ahead of my beloved Lions in the regular season. We all love the play offs, but the team finishing top of the pile when everyone has played everyone really ought to be champions. That goes for any sport.
Cue Ball
Fair play to Kurtz and Doyle, they were a cut above everybody else tonight. Fricke got the better of them at first, but nobody could touch them after that. I was hoping that we would win at home, but not sure that the overall end result was ever going to be in doubt. Congratulations to BV

Hopefully, we get, at least, seven teams with around ten GP riders involved... Tonight showed, unfortunately, the difference between the top level lads, and the young kids who really shouldn't be exposed to to that level, yet... As the crowd tonight showed, there is enough followers of the sport... You just need to make the sport something that people can get engaged enough with for several months..

Col
Well class rose to the top, Tiges didn't have a (none Kings Lynn rider) who could compete with Aces top two. But Belle Vue riders threw so many points away not committing to the wide line, it was ridiculous, to go fast you can't just touch the wide line you have to go deep into it or not at all. The choice of guest for Belle Vue was bizarre, why not go with RR? Blodorn left Holder & Flint in his wake in his second ride then changed his bike for his third ride, why? The Ipswich throttle monkey judges can shut up. Kurtz, Fricke & Doyle rode the quickest line all night and won by mile when they hit the front. But Zischke & Cook won the meeting for Belle Vue but they kept switching lines when they didn't hit the front. InTheDeepStuff
Sadly for Sheffield fans Pickering talking the talk but not walking the walk when it comes to rising against world class riders like Kurtz and Doyle, he has a massively inflated average due to big home scores against weaker opposition. In the 3 plays off meetings to date he has scored 17 points from 14 rides so 4.85 average extremely poor from a number 5 with a GSA or 8.25, wasn’t the only one not riding to their average but sticks out more than the rest Congratulations to Belle Vue dominated the league and fully deserve their play off win celebrations on Friday

chun
Relieved I went with my head and not my heart and didn't sign up for the two legged BSN special. I feel sorry for BSN as the Premiership product doesn't do them justice. Championship speedway far more entertaining.

I wouldn’t feel too sorry for them because the stream kept crashing early on due to the sheer number of viewers.

Having to log back in seven times was somewhat annoying ..😁 Luckily I only missed two laps of a race (Ht13), and the Aces were on a 5-1 when I logged back in!! The coverage is good though, and I get many more than expected bought the stream, (me being one), so hopefully they will sort out the issue going forward.. The racing, for Sheffield, was ok, it's just a shame the track is so narrow on the bends given the speed they hit them.. It looked like a very decent crowd, which shows, once again, that there is a following for Speedway if the product makes it worth attending... The NSS will have 3,000 plus there on Friday, me and my lad being two of them now, yet at least 1500 of us won't have regularly attended all season.. Make the product credible, give it some jeopardy and consequence, add in a wider variety of teams, and those 1500 or so would attend far more often.. Especially if you open your doors, often, during the warmer, drier, months!!

Pinny
Sheffield's track used to be superb. Seeing Wilson and Compton in full flight around there was something else. What on earth has happened to it?

RideHard
Embarrassing really for Sheffield last night, Chris Holder and Pickering looked pale shadows of the riders they have been last few years. Killeen after a full season can’t ride the Sheffield track and Leon Flint still can’t get his bike setup right for 4 races. BV deserved champions never really had to break much of a sweat last night against poor opposition
Dornier
Its a regular thing the stream keeps crashing more so last night at the beginning but two or three times usually on their other meetings. that's my experience anyway.
PhilTheAce
i was wrong about that, i was worried once killer withdrawn but the lads stepped up massively, cook excellent, tate excellent, doyle and brady excellent. very good aces contingent on 3rd and 4th bend, created a great atmosphere. still 15 races to go though, so while one hand is on the trophy now, lets not get to complacent
