Ellis qualifies for the SEC series.

Cook was averaging 6 for this season, Kerr a little over 5. So in theory this weakens Sheffield a little and makes Belle Vue even stronger favourites. With the caveat that a move freshens up Kerr and he improves on the form he’s shown for Lynn this season.

From Speedway GB. This seasons average up to now has Craig on 5.05, Lewi is 4.53. Will benefit the Tigers in the cup final though.

Cook was stronger away 5.52 (6.10) than at home 4.47 (5.88).

Compare that to Kerr at Lynn 5.14 (6.10) and away 4.00 (4.33)!

Looks the wrong move to me, unless Cook was going to be out injured for a long time!

Cook is better than Kerr... Definitely makes you weaker imo

Lewis Kerr in Craig Cook out

Don’t know who thought Kerr replacing Cook was a good idea because he is clearly a downgrade, surely if Cook is injured r/r would be better.

Craig had a series of hard falls and got pretty bashed up physically a few weeks back, several through no fault of his own.

May be they don't want to risk him riding with painkillers after what happened to Barker if some rival Club wants to snitch him up?

With Craigs other well documented health issues it may be the case he's just not in the right place to ride physically or mentally at the moment and if that's the case he deserves space to get 100% right.

A fit  Cook is better than Kerr... Definitely makes you weaker imo

But an unfit Cook or unreliable r/r is surely another matter

I can't believe you guys have dropped cook! He was one of those bargain average signings!

Cook has had more falls this season than the rest of his career put together. Will be affecting him IMO.

On paper Kerr for Cook is a strange move.

In saying that Cook has been off form this season even his figures have not been of previous standard for Glasgow, and he has not hit the heights at Sheffield.

Add his injury and the fact that the Rider Replacement rides taking his rides are not productive we maybe need to find a replacement.

As for Kerr a change of track might be just what he needs, and it could be a good move for both rider and club.
