Premiership 2027 - Are You Interested??
Hackett replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Prioe to the season and after running round the SCB + Promoters were quoted as saying we need to get ready for 2027 well in advance of the end of the season and the meetings would be held + decisions made during the season. Have DID they ever take place or will it be heads in the air-fence until Nov or Jan. -
That’s if he even rides. Stung in the face by a bee yesterday and his face has ballooned up. Could hardly see yesterday.

Berwick 2026

Well done to Jamie and Martin Landels, have clearly been very hard at work. -
If only there was something, it could be called something like the Internet, where you could ask questions while using the Internet instead of looking them up yourself. I'm riding my unicycle from Glasgow to Plymouth will i be allowed to take my Trunk in, or will i have to find a storage space ?

To be fair there were a fair number of overtakes but generally Poole on Worky, good ding-dong race with Rushen (on Cluff?), Lawson was definitely not on any blue line as he rounded Jeppsen in heat 15. But Workington were abysmal, riders kept making errors & falling, not clearing track etc, tactical substitution wasted. Over from the start. On the positive, did get meet up with Neila good to put a face to the name and the wind-ups.

Well what can I say 🤔 as predicted, but on a dusty track the water cart only came out in 2 of the 4 grading breaks, the last few heats were like watching through a dust storm, granted Lawson's pass in HT 15 was good, but the rest of the racing if you can call it that, was not exciting. But the pilots fans will be happy. On a brighter note was good to meet up with a few names on here 😃 and I'm now an honorary member of the NID corner 😄

Found 50p for the leccy meter or an old nail as fuse wire ?

Completely fair and no disagreement from me - Lidsey is a bit like Brennan at Ipswich you felt they had the chance to step up and so far they haven't made it! Hopefully both will. You would likely keep Lidsey on potential tho as you feel he will get back to where we think he can get / be. I did expect more than 4 from him however.

Just got back. Other than Jeppersen who battled throughout, Workington were pretty awful. Good crowd in tonight but men against boys. Track on the slick side and regularly watered but dusty later in the meeting. Race of the night heat 15 with Jeppersen leading and a Lawson trying to get through up the inside. Start of lap four switched to the outside and went all the way around. Great ballsy riding to bring the house down. Nice to meet Neila before the meeting. He predicted a drubbing and that’s what was given. Safe journey back.

The same names for most NORA meetings. From what I have observed it's mostly the same core of riders wearing a different race jacket depending on the meeting. But if that keeps the wulfsport jacket brigade happy and they are happy to pay the admission to see it then so be it. I would imagine though that these would be the same band that complain about riders doubling up in the main leagues.

Yes, the same as Scott of course. Will be a test for both of them

What was that about miracles

Danny posted his schedule on Facebook and he has five meetings the next five days😬

Hiya bruv, was it just me that was unable to access the forum for a couple of days or was it down for everyone?
The reason I ask, I don't very often post on here nowadays, but I posted on the Ipswich v Sheffield thread and posted the amount for Ben Fund collection and one or two observations regarding Tom's performance and how good Lawson could have been and it's completely disappeared 🤔, the likes I got too, weird!!

Two that do my head in 'they risk their lives for our entertainment ' - no they don't. 'if you've never ridden a bike you can't criticise them'

To be fair General as we all know he's really a number 3 ranked heat leader , they have done the best they could with the scraps but having three riders in a team who may or may not fancy it you are on a hiding to nothing , plus they have Zagar looking a shadow of his former self. Credit to Niels , Harrison and especially Thomsen who has exceeded all expectations. They will never get him but as I've banged on someone like Anders Thompson a rider who will put in a shift week in week out would be enough to enable them to win at home most weeks and a better reserve to replace Batch, you might then just be able to carry Klindt and Lidsey.
-
It's Scott Courtney that's god , Why he's not in charge of the bspa yet is beyond me. Must be his own choice, what a difference he'd make to change things for the better compared to the dinosaurs continually lining their pockets.

Oh yeah? Which JC has worked the miracle, then? Jesus or Jamie? Meeting is on. Of course. 7pm. Free car park, too!

Polish Junior teams comp DMPJ 2026

I have a sneaking suspicion that Gorzow only qualified once. Should be Lublin. 6 Ekstraliga clubs + 2 PGE2 (Bydgoszcz & Krosno) -
Riding away from home gives him longer intervals between his 2nd, 3rd and 4th outings.
